Always really appreciate seeing the mistakes...how you found them, the way you keep double checking things before moving on to what's next, and the way you don't step over it and fix it! First of all it makes me realize that even the pros make mistakes and that all you gotta do is tear it out and do it over right; no harm, no foul! Great reality check.
The house is REALLY coming along. Great work team Perkins!
PS ~ Moral of the story...when in doubt, trust Arlo!!! The man is basically always right!

You can adjust the frog (part that holds the blade) back and forth a little on most planes. Moving it back a little causes the blade to project out closer to the back of the mouth/throat, effectively giving you a bigger mouth/throat without having to take an angle grinder to the poor thing.

Well, I have within the last two weeks, discovered your RUclips channel and I will have to say, I very much enjoy your videos! I used to watch a couple of shows on TV that we’re very informative on building, with NO Hollywood drama. Now, short of occasional catching an old rerun on TV, there just isn’t much to watch regarding home construction.. In my line of work, attention to detail extremely important so I really enjoy you guys doing the same. I do occasionally rewind a video a couple times to finally understand what your explaining but I get more out of your stuff than most other channels. Your editing skills are, in my option, right on too. Keep up the great video… On a side note.If you guys ever want a working vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota, let me know. I too have a mountain home I would like to build in the next year.👍
