So happy to see Jamie's injury isn't holding him back!
Yea his new fingers are pretty stylin too lol
100% goes to show the perseverance of Jamie towards his work and skill even with an injury like that good on you mate keep up the hard work
I crushed all the metacarpal in my dominant hand and have barely a range of motion but to see Jamie continue to do the job that he loves with the prosthetic makes me appreciate that I still have fingers even though I can't move them
@@_JamesBrown jdhudhdUDUUUR#D
Its good to know that there's cool robot fingers available should something bad happen.
Seeing Jamie grab the sheeting with his off-hand was low-key the best part of this video.
100%
what happened to jamies hand
@@austinstephensparks I believe it was a jointer accident. He had hearing protection on, didn't hear the jointer running, accidently put his hand on the table, and lost about half or more of the fingers on his left hand. A pretty traumatic accident.

I really like the pace of your editing style and good picks with the music.
Thanks Dave!
When you see an old time youtuber that inspired everyone in the filming industry! Miss your Video's Dave!
I've been a builder for many years and have seen quite a fair bit of sheds. The plans in ryan's package ruclips.net/user/postUgkxB7IXYxLzb_Ichhe45zM3Im5xfEiSp9vB have some of the nicest looking sheds i've seen in a while.
Ray was just looking to see what tools of his were in your belt 😜
Ray was thinking why did thay give him a belt. His clc 20$ belt does good for driving around I mean meetings/estimates/skiing. Thay should have gave him new driving boots🤣🤣
What's wrong with me? Build all week, come home and watch building videos
Lots of pro tips, nice and clear explanations, hanging with the cool guys, taking time for beautiful contemplation without words, being touched and amazed by Jaime's recovery (without YT drama).
These videos are pure gold.
You will deserve the 1M subscribers.
Always really appreciate seeing the mistakes...how you found them, the way you keep double checking things before moving on to what's next, and the way you don't step over it and fix it! First of all it makes me realize that even the pros make mistakes and that all you gotta do is tear it out and do it over right; no harm, no foul! Great reality check.
The house is REALLY coming along. Great work team Perkins!
PS ~ Moral of the story...when in doubt, trust Arlo!!! The man is basically always right!
ROTFL "Hey guys I'm gonna be gone for a couple of days, don't screw up"...I love it when I hear these guys say some of the exact same things I say to my crew... :D
Also, got a little teary eyed seeing Jaime grab that board like it aint no thang. Live strong brotha!
Wish I was balding so I could use Keeps and support Perkins Builder Brothers. Loved the part with Jaime using the high tech prosthesis. He can continue calling himself a handy man.
The editor of these videos deserves an Emmy!
“Relearn where my tools are.”
I believe you mean “Relearn where Ray’s tools are.” 😂😂
Gotta "hand" it to Jamie, no pun intended! He is an inspiration for many...
Ha! Thanks for that
Everyone deserves someone that loves them as much as Jaime loves hand planes
Erik, you really do a great job with these videos - placing camera for interesting shots, no fast/dizzy moves, great/interesting content - really great job!! 🌟
You can adjust the frog (part that holds the blade) back and forth a little on most planes. Moving it back a little causes the blade to project out closer to the back of the mouth/throat, effectively giving you a bigger mouth/throat without having to take an angle grinder to the poor thing.
Jamie is the embodiment of The Positive Spirit uplifting every viewer of these wonderful videos...thanks, Boys!!!
I’m amazed by Jaimie’s hand and was touched that you caught that moment and by your narration.
Sunday can’t come fast enough
Definitely the money shot of The Carolina Blue Sky! Good job Ray!
Jamie! I just started watching this seriea. Watched Jamie's injury series and I have to say, he's back baby! I couldn't imagine how much that feels. Started watching after Johnnie Brooks tiny house. You guy rock!
Great news about Jamie working his hand naturally. It was fun building with you guys today
Jono and Jaimie straightening the decking...giving a whole new meaning to "construction yoga"😂
I just started thanking God when I saw Jamie use his hand to lift that plywood!!!
Good to see Jamie with his 👋 on that sheet mo prob
I think you should make a video all about Jamie's prosthetic and answering the most asked questions. My personal question would be why no index finger?
Love to see him working without his injury ever stoping him, an inspiration.
Awesome too see Jamie work with thar hand again..
Watching this in Feb 2022. SO Beautiful to see Jamie doing better and THANK YOU All for these wonderful videos, it brings joy to my day. God bless you all
Lucky your getting rain. Wish we had rain in northern Arizona. Love your builds
I really like that Jamie doesn't even think about it much anymore. Keep up the great work guys
Good to have someone like Arlo around to save on time and money. That guy's carrying some knowledge.
I been a little bit sad lately.
To many thinks have happened so fast lately.
But watching your videos, makes me forget about the problem and reminds me that life is not easy and we have to enjoy it and be happy.
Thank you guy!!
Your Mexican fan..🤟
Si señor!
If their was an Oscar for best RUclips video y'all would win it easily. Videos are outstanding. The only problem is that I wind up watching these from start to finish and then my wife yells at me for not doing anything on her honey-do-list. Now she wants to do an intervention on me and she's hired a lawyer called Vinny Boombots from Hoboken NJ. So thanks a lot guys........
You guys make it looks so easy.
So happy for Jaime to see the end result of his trips to WA and new working hand.
We need another video Perkins Brother Builders! 4 days feels like forever. 🤣
I'm a little late to this build party. Just had to say, the end where Jaime grabbed that board... 👏🏼 Love you guys. Entertaining, funny, and above all, wholesome.
God is GOOD!! So glad to see Jamie working like nothing every happened! You guy’s are AWESOME!! I so enjoy your videos and man what a shot on those Carolina clouds! Simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us!!🥰
Watching your videos make me smile. Especially seeing Jamie grab that gable with his new hand.
Awesome that Jaime has a good left hand!
That hand is badass. Jaime is like the terminator now.
Awesome work as usual gents. I’m never gonna build a house. But always love to see hard workers
good sunday morning. its a beautiful day here and there .:0)
My wife and I just started building our forever home in Maine. I love watching your videos because it’s like a sneak peak of what’s to come for us!! Keep up the amazing content and work!
I’m glad Jamie’s new hand works so well. I didn’t quite understand the big beam installation as it looked like you replaced it with double 2x6 post
I'd like to see a video on Jamie's bionic hand. Great videos! Thanks
More coming soon! Thanks
Amazing- clouds, Jamie’s “hand”, and straight 20’ 6x ‘s.
SOOOO AWESOME AND HAPPY FOR JAMIE. GLAD HIS PROSTETIC IS WORKING PROPERLY.
Man, I gotta say.... I do love me some Jamie! Forney, TX
I love you too!
Your content is always a joy to watch. I’ve taken up carpentry because of you guys (and others). You make everything seem simple and you guys always have fun doing it. Keep it up!
Great to see Jamie back with a fully workable hand. Simply amazing.
Another great video. Still love the attention to detail. The best part for me was seeing Jaime getting full functionality out of his hand! Makes this old man's heart feel good. Thank you so much for the videos.
Your brother has come a very long way since his injury keep building love these videos
Such a neat looking house.
Also, good to see so much progress with Jamie's hand!
Thanks for another video 👍
Jamies’ new ‘hand’ - worth every damn penny and then some!! 👍🏼. What a grip!!
Makes me wonder 🤔 just how much weight he can safely grab and lift on a straight vertical pull from 👆🏼 belowdecks ?
I wish I knew if my Fort Bragg kids were going to stay there because they they were I’d move to Western North Carolina in a heartbeat! Beautiful beautiful country!
You should change your badge to include the robot hand; it looks so cool! :D
That's GREAT glad for Jamie
What a view! Thanks for posting this and the 411.
Watching from Philippines 🇵🇭
Watch every single one of your videos. Do the same thing on the other side in TN, love everything about it. Love your channel!
Hey thanks! We can see the Tennessee line from our job site
Really enjoying your videos from over the pond.
Good job and Good eye Arlo !! Blessings 🙌
Heyy Jamie splendid job with that new attachment gripping the material and pulling it up I would like to be on site with you guys I'm in tears right now
WOW !!!
Happy to see Jamie being able to use his hand again when it didn’t seem possible before. Truly an inspiration and a damn good carpenter!
Hey thanks… just glad to still be working
Awesome to see Jamies hand working out, and I really enjoy the videos, so thanks to the dude you helped build a backyard guesthouse or something for pointing me to you!
Glad to see everything is working out well for Jamie.
So glad you show your mistakes. Better to learn from them than to edit them out
So cool to see Jamie’s new prosthetic working out so well. I was thinking about asking in a comment but then you showed it in action in the best way possible.
I'm really starting to love waking up to a Perkins video on Sundays! Keep up the great work Gents :)
You should do a tool of the day each video, like the tool that came in the most handy.
I think reminding people to hit the thumbs up is very important,, because I just did .. Great build
for a second i thought you ment --hit thumbs like --with a hammer
I love your videos because as a DIYer and a newly owned Amish built shed / cabin owner. I'm learning how to frame this all in and make it more structural because of your videos and have the confidence to do it
Good stuff guys🏴👍😂
It’s amazing to see technology at work. Jamie you are a inspiration to us all!!! Can’t keep a good man down. Love the Videos.
Ha,! Thanks. Just gotta keep working…
What great news about Jaime's hand, glad to hear he can do what he loves!🤗
Thank you! I’m really enjoying my “new hand”
Love watching you guys, thanks for letting us build with you!
Love this channel!
From time to time I get to work at a customers home with a nice view. But you’re right about that sky time lapse and how amazing that was. Thanks for sharing that with us!
Thanks for the entertainment
I'm really happy for Jaime's recovery.
New tool belt looks awesome! Maybe you can keep track of your tools now, hahaha
I was seriously exhausted at the end of that day mentally! Tape measure and speed square are in a different location than my old toolbelt and it’s amazing how muscle memory can take over every time you reach for them.
@@PerkinsBuilderBrothers How do you like that diamondback? I thought about getting one but they're a little pricey. Do you recommend after using it for a little while?
Really happy to see the progress in Jamie's recovery. I have to admit though when his new hand first got camera time I was thinking "wow that's some Star Wars tech". Now, I just keep waiting to hear "go, go ,gadget screwdriver" or something similar and have him hold up the hand with the gadget attached.
Well, I have within the last two weeks, discovered your RUclips channel and I will have to say, I very much enjoy your videos! I used to watch a couple of shows on TV that we’re very informative on building, with NO Hollywood drama. Now, short of occasional catching an old rerun on TV, there just isn’t much to watch regarding home construction.. In my line of work, attention to detail extremely important so I really enjoy you guys doing the same. I do occasionally rewind a video a couple times to finally understand what your explaining but I get more out of your stuff than most other channels. Your editing skills are, in my option, right on too. Keep up the great video… On a side note.If you guys ever want a working vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota, let me know. I too have a mountain home I would like to build in the next year.👍
Looking good fellas
I’ve gathered a few things from this video 1) Jamie can make me sick watching him butcher a hand plane lol 2) always check Erik’s measurements 3) Erik is a little insecure about his baldness lol. Great video as always guys, keep it up. Thank y’all !!!
It just KEEPS coming! 🤣
The Perkins Brothers and their crew are welcome to come build in LoUiSiAna where we have a LOT of flat land... where the highest point in the State is Driscoll “Mountain” which isn’t even 900 ft high. 😁
One of my favorite channels, keep up the great work
I would love to live out here. Those views 😍
Great to see a team support each other as well as you do, all while having jestful fun.
Raining in Cleveland, perfect time to watch the beautiful Carolina sky.
Easily the best composed video you guys have done.
Nailed
After watching two whole series, I had slowed down a bit with the building videos but that house looks so neat! definitely picking those videos again, I can't wait to see that massive open space at the front of the house
great cinematography skills!
Don't tell me what to do,I will do a 👍 before watching your vids and refuse to afterwards, besides I might forget.
I don't think we have mentioned it enough yet but.. we love Arlo.
The old guy with the Occidental leather nail bags is a lot like me tons of experience and lots of jobsite tricks 👍
