I put the Clarisea in the tank on the highest setting I could get it and then measured back from the Clarisea inlet to the return line and did it piece be piece to fit it exactly... does that make sense or answer your question? 🤦♂️
@@paulukreefer5012 it does, I will be putting one on my upgrade only asked as I’ve seen ‘ read that people put them on stands afterwards to make them more efficient
Hi all of my return water runs through the Clarisea. I have. A vectra m2 return pump running at about 55% and the rolls last about 2 months or sometimes more 👍
@@paulukreefer5012 sounds money well spent lasting that long! Do they really keep your water crystal clear more than socks? iv just got myself a red sea e260 max with sump! im going to cut the baffle with socks in like you did to fit the clarisea to return water pipe"
@@26Tackle.reviews I would not start a tank without one… you could probably argue that thick socks might do a slightly better job…. But man!!! You don’t need to clean them… worth its weight in gold
Hi Paul, finally got round to getting the sump cut out (was pretty scary!!) plumbed in the Clarisea today (now qualified as a NVQ for Plumber 🤣) Thank you so much for your help, and the very helpful vlog 👌🏻 How is yours running now, with the height set up? Cheers mate 👍

Following the initial pipe work measure, did you have to adapt the length of pipe work coming from the valve to raise the level of the clarisea?

@@logansreef3079 yes the brackets that come with it will hang it on the sump wall or a baffle wall in the sump
Is it a pain to get to the return if you needed…..
Slightly more hampered but I have had it a year and been able to access it and take it out for cleaning
