Will the heater position damage the wires ?

Hi! I installed a brand new Deltec 39 watts UV. However when I am putting it on power, I am hearing a buzzing sound with red led flashing. I am not able to figure out why. Did you ever face this issue? Regards

Warning! useless garbage.. I bought x2 deltec 39w uvc. The lamp melts the plastic on both units on the inside.. Already after 60min the water starts to smell burnt plastic..

If the controller fails there is nothing to stop this heater staying on and cooking your fish! Would it not be better to have a heater that you can set as well (slightly above what you set the controller at), that way if the controller fails you have the heaters thermostat as a backup to turn the heater off.

I have 1.0mgl no³ and po⁴ 0.1 mgl Ph always 8. Why ?

Do you need the auto shut off valve?

What would you advise with a 48x24x24 using 2 external whale filter's and no sump so heaters will be in tank running on inkbird controller.

How are you doing with the Tangs in the tank? 2 or 3? I have a Reefer 425 that I’m about to stock and everyone keeps warning again the tangs but I really want to. Hoping to buy small and swap when they get too big

Tank's looking awesome mate! I've been following a red sea recipe for my 425 and my growth has all but stopped. Nitrates are now 2 and phos is 0.05. Similar parameters to yours for the big three, using the red sea foundation range of additives. I'm thinking of coming away from them and using a different brand or methodology. Any advice mate?
