We saw and had all this stuff in the 90th. Making those street trash as luxury pieces with this high prices is nonsense. They should look around the world and see what people really need. Thank goodness they speak so many languages... ! That it .Making Design of other Brand with changing chape colors and details is actually not a justification for this label .
Vetements is dope as fuck and have completely changed the game, however, their ideology is flawed.
You can't claim to produce real clothes for real people when you're charging what you charge for a piece at retail and using artificial scarcity to make your pieces "limited" and "exclusive" when in reality, you have the money, time, resources and manpower to create them in abundance.
Style should be dictated by, well, style; personal style and personality, it should be an extension of you.
When you use artificial scarcity to produce """limited""" pieces, any normie with enough cash can pretend to be stylish or in on fashion culture, because all they gotta do is buy some """limited""" pieces and boom, they're in, automatically they have "style".
N that bullshit because they put no effort into putting together a fit, nor did it require any style, personal taste or creativity.
Just money.
I still love Vetements, they're amazing, but you should give the people what they want if they want it.
Everyone, especially the creative and fashionable among us without much cash deserves to cop a Vetements piece.
Not too big on Vetements, it looks like something out of the early 90ties, with big shoulder pads and baggy clothing.
Their own logo and brand should be distinctive and unique, which Vetemente is not.
