In the mid of 1966 there was a news in "Screen" weekly news paper, that Deenanath Shastri, a close friend of Shailendra, is making the film named "Dharati Kahe Prakar Ke" and has signed Shailendra to write the songs and Laxmikant-Pyarelal would score the music. But the death of Shailendra put the full stop on this combo. In sixties, in supreme form, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, relativiely new, have worked with almost all the songwriters who were active, except Shailendra. Later Deenanath Shastri signed Majarooh Sultanpuri.
