In the beginning, it has been stated that the war happened 7500 years ago. Then it has been stated that the Y-chromosome bottleneck occurred at the same time in South Asia. Which one does the narrator try to assume and which one does he intend to prove? The time of the war or the war really did happen? Has he any evidence that humans had a capacity to arrange for such a huge war 7500 years ago that according to his narrative collected soldiers from Syria to Indonesia? These kind of narratives are mere speculations which need to be presented modestly as heuristics instead of claiming those in an assertive way. Then only some further scope of discussion remains. Otherwise, these are considered by the rational mind as mere beliefs that have only entertainment value.

Because of War Rules. Both army must use similar weapons, astra and vehicles in order to be considered a dharmic (righteous) war. Thos with spear will attack those with spears, swordmen vs swordmen, archers vs archers etc. Use of Astras are the only exception here because even so the astra are aimed at specific individual, it can have area-effect which kills others around (like the infamous Brahmastra).
As for vimanas, throughout Mahabratha epic, very little people actually used vimana as tool which may indicate that the use of vimana in war during that time was forbidden as it could lead to unfair advantage to one group.

Just because there are different theories and timelines regarding the Kurukshetra war doesn't mean it didn't happen. Historical events often have multiple interpretations due to varying evidence and perspectives. While the exact details of how and what occurred are subjects of ongoing debate, there is substantial evidence in ancient scriptures like the Mahabharata and other shastras supporting its significance. Faith plays an essential role in interpreting and understanding religious and cultural histories. Dismissing these accounts outright overlooks the rich heritage and the profound impact they have had on shaping society and culture. Have they done enough research. Only considering pot and pans, spear and arrow as evidence can't let you find real timeline of such historic events. There could have happened less significant wars in same areas which has not been mentioned anywhere in literary records. If you find weaponry for this less significant war. How can you definitely call it is related to Mahabharata. Archeology has its limitations and their timelines will keep changing as per new findings. Their insights are important in determining what kind of life people used to live, what rituals they performed, technology what they had,..........their findings are incredibly good but timeline decisions they make is very much inaccurate as that is bound to change as per findings. Literary data of astrology is available in Mahabharata epic. Once you run computer simulation as per condition mentioned in Mahabharata epic. You are bound to reach year around 5500bc. This gives you convincing match. Also City of Dwarka submerged in sea after some years of Mahabharata war as described in epic. Oceanographic data too supports the same conditions of rising sea level and then sea ports of Indus valley civilization lothal , balakot, sutkagen dor becoming a port is also established by same archeological findings. Lord Krishna is the fabled King David (Dawood in Islam) of Israel..his Capital was in Judah..from which we get the clan "Jadu Bangsha". Nation of Israel later got divided into two kingdoms and these two factions clashed against each other. The "Star of David'" depicted on the flag of present Israel is The "Sudarshan Chakra" of Lord Krishna. After the war the defeated faction (Kurus)moved to southern side (Present Arabia)..from the Kurus, came the "Koraesh" Clan of Arabia Mecca...and You know from which Arabic Clan did come Mohammad(PBUH), Prophet of Islam..rings a bell?...
Nation of Israel later got conquared and vandalised by Babylonians..just what happened to Jadus after passing of Lord Krishna(they did not mention babylon, they mentioned barbaric aggresive people in Mahabharata taking away the ladies of Jadus from the protection of Arjuna)..
The last hint...have you heatd of Psalms of David?..in Islam, the book that was given to Dawood (King David) is called "Jabur" and the meaning of the word "Jabur" is Music or "Geet" in Sangskrit.."Geeta".."Bhagabat Geeta" = Music from God..
    Israel= Isra+ El = Ishwar+ Aloy = House of God.
The Whole Sindhis, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Rajputs, Pathans = Lost tribes of Israel...
Time line of King David = 1000 BC

War happens everywhere not just in Hindu tradition, The Mahabharat war happened between 2 cousins clans Pandavas(sons of King Pandu) and Kauravas(sons of King Dhritarashtra, Pandu's elder brother).
The reason of war was many bad acts done by Kauravas, however the tipping point which started the war was when Draupadi(wife of pandava) was insulted and humiliated as one of the Kauravas tried to disrobe her in public.
It was in this war where Arjun(son of Pandu) seeing his cousins, grandfathers, uncles and all the relatives in-front of him taking up arms against him after his wife was humiliated by his cousin Duryodhan(son of Dhritarashtra) fell into a moral dilemma of how by killing his our family will bring any peace to him.
That is when GOD(in the form of a human(Shri Krishna)) explained him about his responsibility and fighting for the good, that is when GOD explained him about life and death and how dying is not the end for us, he inspired him to get up and fight the evil doers in front of him. Those word spoken by GOD is written in Bhagwat Gita.

Once I heard about Arjuna whom I used to like, listening my mother stories and her fascination for her India roots was my drive to visit once. All of a sudden, I started having dreams of a huge war, then in my youth I read some part of a huge war called Mahabharata. And, my dreams were worst. So, I just distamce my self from any Hindu scriptures. Seems like the gene may carry some information that,l cause those memories. Fun fact, I had a dream once, a man driving a chariot around the SUN and another man talking to him while he drove, when I read the book krishna and Arjuna had a conversation in a similar scenario. War is everywhere. Should I accept war just because of that? It is just a feeling.

The ratio of X to Y chromosome diversity fell to 16:1 in that period. Before it was 3:1. After a few millennia, it recovered to 3:1 again. The epicenter of this fall of genetic diversity was in Indian subcontinent.
This conclusion has been derived by modern day genetic scientists after conducting their super intensive research.

A man has XY chromosomes and a woman has XX chromosomes. So a couple has 3 Xs and 1 Y chromosome. That's 3:1 ratio.
In a population with close to 50-50% population of men & women, the ratio will be 3:1.
The genetic study conducted by WESTERN scientists has concluded that around 5500 & 5000 BC, there was a sudden decline in that ratio from 3:1 to 16:1 and it's epicenter was Indian subcontinent. It's ripple effect went as far as Europe & South East Asia.
They don't know the cause of this decline!
And being Western, they probably don't know about Mahabharat and it's timeline!
But their research fits perfectly with the timing of Mahabharat and the War where 4 million men died out of 10 million population (5 million men). So 1 million men & 5 million women left. That's 5:1 by head count & (3:1 x 5:1 =) 15:1 by chromosome count.
      Hence proved!

It’s possible they wrote these tales of their battles from Central Asia or of their ancestors in India and Pakistan. There’s very little historical proof of this. It’s also filled with ridiculousness like a guy being able to choose his own time of death which is not possible, esp for prehistoric primitive tribes. Just like Marvel Avengers today is just entertainment and not real, Mahabharata is also their entertainment imo and not to be taken as real. 100 kids and 1 woman in group marriage with 5 brothers and having children with all is just entertainment and not real.
