    In my opinion the perfect pocket pen and the only pen I've got that has been inked since the day I bought it (usually with Smoky Quartz or Chocolate Brown). I carry it around with a SketchUp. No need to count the number of turns needed to take off the cap - the threads are so well engineered that you can spin it off, post it and be writing in the blink of an eye. I may stipulate in my will that they leave it in my pocket when they bury me.

      This pen really makes a lot of sense together with the SketchUp. If you will be buried with it, some centuries from now archeologists will find it still in working condition, I believe.

      Thanks, you just convinced me to order one. After randomly finding the brass SketchUp and absolutely loving it, I wanted a pen version asap. The SketchUp feels absolutely perfect in my hand and I hope the brass Sport will feel similar.

      Funny you should say that. I told my wife to put it in my pocket when I die because it's the only pen that might withstand the fires of hell.

    This presentation videoclip is so good, no one will be able to resist purchasing a Kaweco Brass Sport after this. I myself can attest to that having bought one and repurchased for friends who covet the pen and cannot find it in their markets abroad.

    Beautiful brass engineering by Kaweco, must say it is a piece of art. Has been on my wishlist for ages, also you saying it writes flawlessly and does what is supposed to, gives me confidence to finally get it.

    Thank you so much for your review! I got my hands on a Kaweco Brass Sport a couple of weeks ago at a store, and loved its weight. I've just bought one online, thanks to your review :) I used to write with fountain pens 20 years ago, and started again a few months ago. I own a Kaweco Liliput Aluminum and it's one of the most beautiful pens I have ever had. Incredible lightweight. Also, a Lamy Logo and a Pilot Metropolitan. I can't wait to get my new Kaweco Brass Sport! And... also thanks to your review, now I'm starting to research the Traveler's Company Brass fountain pen. Thanks again, you have a new happy subscriber :)

    Muito obrigado pela revisão Paulo, I love this pen too. My favorite Nib to use is M for everyday use and F for journaling. My friend recommended me this Kaweco brand. I picked the Brass and am not disappointed! Valeu mano!

    Utterly beautiful! I prefer steel to brass, but brass has a great feeling of traditional engineering. Gorgeous.

    Its a really beautifully build pen, i had one in fp and one rollerball, but i was wondering why on the inner cap of the rollerball is plastic but the fp has some kind of aluminium threading on the inner cap

    Does it get that metallic brass smell after using it for a while?

    I hesitated for years before buying this pen. Everything, other than being made of brass which I love, seemed against it. Tiny nib, very small ink capacity, very heavy, so I just didn't buy one. Then I had the chance to use one and it was an instant sell. Funny, but I own some VERY expensive pens, one of which cost a hundred and fifty times what I paid for the Brass Sport. Before buying the Brass Sport my three daily carry, take anywhere and everywhere pens were the Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age, the Scribo Feel, and the Pilot Custom 823. Now the 823 is out and the Brass Sport is in.
    I don't know why, but writing with this pen is almost addictive. I use a fountain pen a lot more than most people, about eight hours per day, five days per week, on average, five hours in the morning and three in the evening. I use the Brass Sport for the morning session twice per week, despite the far more expensive pens I own. Despite its weight, or maybe because of it, it's a pure joy to use.

      Please tell me, does the cap in kaweco brass sport have a steel thread or a plastic one?

    • @suchite8
      @suchite8 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@George_BormanI believe in the cap, there is a softer metal but careful. People have been known to strip them cause they don’t know thier own strength it seems like.

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  2 года назад

      I would prefer F nibs. Kaweco F are good and fine. EF are not much finer and sometimes are a little dry. So my preference would be F, but it depends on if you enjoy wetter or drier nibs.

    Is it the plastic thread in the cap ?

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  2 года назад

      Yes, there is a black plastic lining inside but it doesn't go over the threads, which are metal.

      I absolutely love mine. It fits my hand perfectly, both in the diameter and length. At first I was afraid the 5.6mm lead would be too thick, but after using it some time I actually prefer it over the standard 0.5mm or 0.7mm leads.
