Thanks, sadly yes. Seems it was a problem when I digitised the tapes that I wasn’t aware of until I started posting them. I no longer have access to the tapes so can’t fix.
It doesn’t matter. I think we should just be thankful that this is on RUclips today. It’s wonderful to see a piece of television history being preserved and posted online. I too have never seen such a sign-off from BTV6 (now WIN Television via VTV-37 on UHF DTV) Ballarat before. Perhaps we should all stop complaining about a small portion of the bottom of the screen being cut off. Yes it’s unfortunate that the bottom of the video is gone, but we should also be lucky that we even get to see this at all. Finding such television history like this is just like finding a needle in a haystack. And that’s a fact. Some honest words from Interesting Things. 😎
