I can't compare and decide how good the new Kamen Rider reboot is, but the Kamen Rider the first is a badass reboot I've ever watched.. The type of Kamen Rider I was hoping to see. The Heisei Era is filled with so much comedic scenes while this one is darker and has serious tone, which I am looking for.

What he is saying is that he uses to live it like that, but over time it turned to a kid show. And honestly, I agree at 100%. I like how most of the people dislike the Shin kamen rider design, even though is pretty much the same design as the original one. But tbh, I prefer the design from first and next too.
2005 is definitely more appealing to many audiences but personally prefer the 2023 bcs it was able to somehow stay true to the original design, giving it a modernized look while still looking almost exactly as the original one and I am a big fan of it as someone whose first rider was Ichigo from 1971
I think is the same designer and they went too close to 2005 suit so they scrapped it and redesign again using the original design.Actually I would not mind if they use the SIC version which looked organic.

Can easily be compared, but yet both of the suits are quite amazing and awesome. The First suit design looks more like a classic battle suit that only needs a jacket and some armors, while the helmet can be taken care of seconds later, the Shin one looks way similar to the original version one but still, The First's suit is much better, despite for having a true realistic design.
I think that is not just an armor but a radiator, to keep the machine from overheating i guess, that why it has a hole on the bottom edge of each armor, and that is all kamen rider ichigo need, that why i like the shin kamen rider design so much, because it simple and have a function than just for aesthetic purpose, he is cyborg after all
@@NERO3D47 One of the things i've noticed through the trailer is that they don't need to transform anymore, unlike their original versions whom needs to transforms by performing the so popular called as the Henshin Pose. That's good by the way, but not the best, the first reason it's that the only thing they can do to complete their setup is by putting on the helmet, and the second reason is that they cannot freely go around in the cities with the armor on, it could basically make them feel uncomfortable around in many places.
@@TheBladeGuy522 but nigo do henshin pose in that trailer, its because he can save energy for use later when theres no wind to spin the fan on the belt its activated with a pose, and when he do that he become more stronger, unlike ichigo he dont need henshin pose all he need is wind to blow the fan, i was watching the original series, there's one episode where ichigo traped in hole theres no air there and cant henshin, but the kaijin who trapped him was idiot, he put a bomb there, and when it explode it spin the fan of ichigo belt and he transforming to kamen rider and jumping out from that hole, that was cool

I loved Kamen Rider The First. I wish I could get The First and The Next on bluray. I did manage to get a copy of The First on dvd but bluray would be much nicer.

I feel like the first and next suits are just way too modern for me, at least for kamen rider standards, i guess ive gotten a lil tired of the designs of modern kamen riders like Ex-Aid, that one fruit samurai rider etc, its not that their designs are bad, their just not for me, but shin in the other hand goes back to its roots, adding a little bits of modern tech to the suit and i love it, i love the redesign of shin lol
I'm also not a fan of the direction most Rider suits have gotten recently, Kabuto being my first series and still my gold standard. That said I don't get how the First and Next suits are like those modern ones you mentioned. They feel more grounded and realistic, something most modern suits don't. I think I prefer the First suit's design tweaks, but the Shin suit feels higher quality so they're about the same for me.

It is not the same designer. Shin kamen rider is designed by Isao Tsuge. Yutaka Izubuchi only drafted a concept design that was rejected. It also was just the same design as THE first 's design

@@aquaticlibrary The same with the 2005 version. It is still identical to the original with a touch of modern and realistic design, and that came from 17 years ago. While the Shin version is a mix of the original and the 2005 version design, but it does look more like a cheap knockoff instead.

It's so hard, because First and Next are SO much better than "Kamen Rider 1" in terms of excellent design! Shin Kamen Rider is SO close to the original that it's beautifully respectful but not as different, or updated, as First and Next.

初代仮面ライダー世代からしたら、平成以降のライダーより断然いいんですが、Firstは現代風で現実的な感じがして好きです。バイクもカッコいいしね。

ストーリーの整合性等、残念な部分もありますが、それを補って余りあるスタイルとアクションでした。

ライダーマンは、仮面ライダー4号で飛行機乗りとしてリイマジされてましたけどね💧
でも、個人的には結城丈二の新しいライダーマンのリイマジ版が見たかったのは確かですね♨︎
ダークな不気味さが子供達を引きつけ、ライダーの哀愁が子供達をとりこにした。
単純な勧善懲悪が求められており、余計なサイドストーリーが無い方が集中できる。
ホラー映画でもエクソシストやオーメンなどは名作。ギャグが混じるホラーはそれなり。
今からでもドラマパート作り直せば化けるから勿体無い

余談ですが、胸のコンバーターラングをオリジナルより少々小さめにデザインしてしまい、完成作品を観てから失敗したと思い、次作NEXTではデザインをやり直したとか

firstとnextは脚本には相当に難があったものの、デザインやアクションは20年近く前の作品にもかかわらずこれだけ完成度が高くて今でも超えられてる作品がほぼ無いのはとんでもないことだとシン見て改めて思った

To me the first got cool redesign and shin got cool upgrade look from the og. Both look great

I prefer the suits in The First, but man Shin Hongo is the character I somehow preferred, I dunno why, but I just do.

Idk about you guys but the first design always looks timeless design just like shadowmoon in 80s, the suit is always look great in my opinion

The First/Next's suit design is unmatched even to this day. Though wish the plot was better..
I feel like the first and next suits are just way too modern for me, at least for kamen rider standards, i guess ive gotten a lil tired of the designs of modern kamen riders like Ex-Aid, that one fruit samurai rider etc, its not that their designs are bad, their just not for me, but shin in the other hand goes back to its roots, adding a little bits of modern tech to the suit and i love it, i love the redesign of shin lol
I'm also not a fan of the direction most Rider suits have gotten recently, Kabuto being my first series and still my gold standard.
That said I don't get how the First and Next suits are like those modern ones you mentioned. They feel more grounded and realistic, something most modern suits don't.
I think I prefer the First suit's design tweaks, but the Shin suit feels higher quality so they're about the same for me.

哀愁を纏いながら洗練されたマスク、それを現代風にアレンジしながらカッコ良さを増してるのは流石だと思う。

After seeing Shin Kamen Rider I can honestly say Kamen Rider The First is the superior film.

The,Firstのサイクロンも格好良いですがやはり仮面ライダーはどんな悪路でもバイクを乗りこなしてこそだと思います。
昔の仮面ライダーは悪路を走る為にオフロード用のバイクを使用し、今の仮面ライダーは舗装された道しか走らないのでオンロード用のバイクを使用してますが、「シン・仮面ライダー」はオンロード用バイクで悪路を乗りこなすという庵野監督の拘りがヒシヒシと伝わってきます。
確かにクオリティー的には、新しいタイプのの方が勝ってるとは思うのだけれども、子供の頃見た、今は無き素朴でシンプルで異質でグロテスクで野性的なワイルドな新鮮なイメージが。

It is not the same designer. Shin kamen rider is designed by Isao Tsuge. Yutaka Izubuchi only drafted a concept design that was rejected. It also was just the same design as THE first 's design
The only issue with Shin Kamen Rider is his height. Nigo is now taller than Ichigo. Ichigo was always taller than Nigo and V3.

@@aquaticlibrary The same with the 2005 version. It is still identical to the original with a touch of modern and realistic design, and that came from 17 years ago. While the Shin version is a mix of the original and the 2005 version design, but it does look more like a cheap knockoff instead.
@@stopler I see I must’ve misread your first comment. I think it does look a little cheaper but intentionally so. It’s because the color palette matches the original more. While the 2005 one seemed like they wanted to modernize the original a little more.

It's so hard, because First and Next are SO much better than "Kamen Rider 1" in terms of excellent design! Shin Kamen Rider is SO close to the original that it's beautifully respectful but not as different, or updated, as First and Next.
