Hi Davina, what a beautiful pink you've had an accident with and I'm not surprised you might accidentally find the white coming home with you. I have read three Trisha Ashley books: The Twelve Days of Christmas, A Winter's Tale, The Magic of Christmas and I enjoyed them as cosy comfort reads - hope you like yours. Take care and happy crafting, Teresa xx😾🪥📚
Trisha Ashley is great. I've read all hers. She writes about Lancashire and Wales a lot. Milly Johnson comes from Barnsley where I live. You should try hers, too. She's a bestseller. 👍🏻
Hi Davina, it feels about 33C today in Toronto and SO humid as rain expected and AC not turned on yet in the condo 😱😱😱. So, another accidental cast on - funny how that happens 🤣🤩. Beautiful shade, you’ll have that done in no time. I made my girl one with an I cord edging as she doesn’t button hers up either. It is a fabulous pattern. Love all your makes dear. Take care of yourself as well as you take care of Glen and Elmo 🐈⬛. From your friend in 🇨🇦.
Hello Davina, you're not alone with your "unseasonal" stitching! I am currently cross stitching Santa in his sleigh, knitting a Christmas gnome and finishing an EPP Christmas table runner. So long as we are happy with our crafting, that's all that matters, isn't it. You have made me want to go and find the Whitmore pattern now, I prefer a cardigan for the same reasons as you 😂😂 See you next time xx
Hi Davina, I have to park in Home Bargains car park to drop my daughter to work and pick her up sometimes when her husband needs the car and I always accidentally go in 😂😂 well you’ve got to haven’t you xxx
I found your channel a few months ago and watched them all in order from the very first, now I'm up to date !! I love craft and books. I have read all the miss reads and I love Trisha Ashley my favourite one being wedding tiers. There's even ladies who embroider tablecloths ! Sian from Wrexham 😊
Hello Davina, your blanket is absolutely lovely, the colours! I definitely think you should pop back to HB for the white yarn, who doesn’t need a white cardi?! Take care. Xx
Does that mean you'll accidentally go into Home Bargains tomorrow lol. The pink is gorgeous. I know exactly what you mean about the warmer weather, getting washing dry outside is the best. Take care🤗
Trisha Ashley writes lovely easy reading books, i enjoy them, i hope you will too😊. May be appearing a bit thick there😂 when you knit straight across for the bands, i assume that you use the same size needles to knit the bands that you use for the main body?🤔
Yeah, that's what I mean. Knit right across the body and the bands in the same needles. The pattern says to use 2 different sizes, and it is so fiddly xxx
Hi Davina, love that colour pink. Have a question, during lockdown I ventured into sock knitting and have been hand washing them as I was worried about the wool content in the yarn. I have so many pairs now, so my question is do you wash your socks in the washing machine? Thanks in advance. Chris from Kent
Hi Chris, I was mine in the machine on a wool wash, and they are fine. Like you, I have so many, and I felt as if I was just constantly handfasting socks. So I tried the machine and never looked back xxc
Well done getting your whitmore started. I haven’t done a lace project yet. I might make that my next goal. I think tin can knits has a free cowl with lace
Thank you Davina 🙏🏻👌I love your two in one bags and your tips on the easier way to knit The Whitmore 👌🫶✨💕🌸

@@LittleWorkroomCraftsme too, all my hand knit socks go in at 30 degrees then dry flat on the clothes horse and all perfect.
Hi. So you just use the smaller circular needle for your rib and do the rest using 4mm? Love the idea of using one button
Yeah, use the 3mm for the rib at the top, the cuffs, and the bottom rib and use the 4mm for the built-in bands and the body, sleeves xxx
@@LittleWorkroomCrafts thank you
