I've been absent lately too.. Your blanket is so cute! It's been snowy and chilly here in the Canadian Prairies... I think we've gotten over 20cm in the past week and it's been between -12 and -20 for temps ❄️😁❄️

Hi Davina sounds like u have been a busy bee. Glad u got your room straight again after the chaos of the boiler. I can see your point of view about the way the pattern is laid out. It’s difficult to see when you start the next row. They are serperated enough or a big enough font to stand out. One quick question your neck light, how long between charges can u use it for? I’ve got one not the same make as yours, but I only get about an hours use out of it. Before it’s not bright enough for me to see what I’m doing. We have to spoil our pets don’t we. My Tiggy lays on me at night, he positions himself so that he’s the whole length of me. So strange, but so warm.

Lovely to see you as always Davina. Jeanette from Crafty Clegg’s recommended your podcast as uplifting and you are! I gave up on my gingerbread blanket after doing the lights 4x. I found the pattern confusing and would prefer a chart as well as written instructions. I hope I go back to it after doing my other gift knits. I chained the long floats at the back of the lights. However, I can’t face it just now. So I’m working on the Hedge Fence pullover for my husband’s Christmas present.

I didn't do the blanket in the end my head wasn't in it at all and i wasn't enjoying it. and to me if you don't enjoy something don't do it lol. now i am making a striped flax sweater instead.
