A small plane contracted by the US Defence Department crashed in the southern Philippines on February 6, 2025, killing all four people on board. The US Indo-Pacific Command said one US Marine and three defence contractors died in the incident. The aircraft was on a routine mission providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support for US-Philippines security cooperation activities.
