Whenever the transaction is done and the store has fulfilled delivery it is your property and if a store decides to “take” that product away from the consumer later on in time that would be completely unlawful.

Honestly, when the transaction is complete, they have no say over what you do with it anymore, you could’ve gone to the middle of town and set up a booth were you let people try it out for free without anyone being able to do anything. Them trying to say that they can’t let you leave with it is complete cap, they’re just trying to not get into trouble with Meta for selling it too early by doing everything they can to convince you to return it.

Yeah man, would take my quest back aswell. And if they wouldnt give it back id call the cops, show them the receipt that i bought it and its oficially mine and they dont give it back. Its their problem for giving it away a few days earlier, at the point of selling it they lost the right to the object and cant just "take it back"

I don’t think they have a legal right to not give you back your property. Once you purchased it ,it’s yours. if they made a mistake they made a mistake but you are not accountable to their company policies, nor liable for their mistakes.
