Naloxone, the active ingredient in 4mg Narcan and higher dose 8mg Kloxxado, along with many generic versions, can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available for free. Google it.

My son died from cocaine laced with fentanyl in Lake Worth. The Palm Beach Cty Sheriff refused to investigate despite my endless pleas. They ignored me. The dealers' info was on my son's phone. The police threw out the paraphernalia and the substance that killed my son instead of collecting this evidence. However, I got the pictures that were taken at the scene showing this evidence that was thrown out. The indifference and incompetence of the Palm Beach Cty Sheriff was galling and just added to our grief. Evil law enforcement department.

Overdosed on Fentanyl in June 2023 at my dealers house...blue on the floor almost 3 hours with hands curled at chest and mouth drawn up. He couldnt find the narcan so he dragged my body across the street after setting nearly a half gram of crystal meth in mouth to dissolve. The meth did nothing. I woke up wondering how I nodded out and made it across the road. Took 10 mins to figure out I'd OD'D. Sober since July 3rd 2022 after realizing I didnt want to die! Thankyou God for giving me the sense to want to enjoy whats left of my life!❤

Naloxone is the active ingredient in Narcan and is also available in many generics as a nasal spray. In fact, the brand name Kloxxado delivers a higher dose of naloxone than Narcan (Kloxxado-8mg per dose, Narcan-4mg per dose). Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available in the brand name Narcan or generic versions available for free.
It is important to recognize that Naloxone is the drug, Narcan is just a brand name. Whenever someone uses the word "Narcan" in place of "naloxone", they're devaluing all the other equally effective brand options and promoting a specific pharmaceutical company.

    • @andrewsweat4350
      @andrewsweat4350 2 месяца назад

@@TexasPictures Agreed naloxone is the med that has the higher binding affinity to the receptor sites and should be used in place of pharmaceutical drug names. They are more and more frequently combining other illicit substances such as research benzodiazipines and tranquilizers with fentanyl which unfortunately naloxone does not aid in reversing effects. Just ANOTHER reason, as if we needed one, to steer clear of drugs. Kratom isn't regulated and for a while I was taking it. I failed a drug test taking kratom and I can tell there are other things mixed in with kratom brands from gas stations and smokeshops especially. Lab tested kratom has it's place, for folks trying cessation of opioids but finding only organically grown kratom is difficult if near impossible at the very least. Meth amphetamine is now manufactured as "super meth" using a new method of manufacturing changes chirality of the drug which even though the end drug is meth amphetamine it has even greater detrimental effects to the human body than it did 12-15 years back. I know people in one and a half weeks of starting use that look like they've been using for months and months now. The world of drugs is now more than ever the world of ☠.

His wife said the moment he lit it and took a puff, he feel back, so she called an ambulance, he was deceased before they got there. They tried narcan and everything for 15 minutes to bring him back but he was gone. He was poisoned. And nobody has been caught or charged bc his wife doesn't know who he bought it from. Burning fentanyl at a temperature of over 250°, destroys its chemical structure instantly meaning if they were using a light or a match or any type of fire to light this joint or just burning it at all then it would’ve been destroyed. It’s literally impossible to smoke, and all sued without it being destroyed been proven people claim that someone died from it. They just don’t want to admit that their loved one took a pill or something.

I was a pothead since my teen years up until recently. I'm in my early 30s now. In the past year or so I've noticed a distinctly different high from some of the buds or pens I've gotten that I couldn't put my finger on. It was making me feel absolutely awful in my insides and causing extreme headaches to what felt like my mind was on a runaway gravitron. On 4 separate occasions within the past year I've suffered seizures of varying intensities shortly after taking just one or two hits.
The worst one put me face down in the snow in my backyard, my body was unbelievably hot and I was sweating profusely. Before I had collapsed to the ground my thoughts progressively raced faster and faster until they got to the point where I could no longer control them. It was like my thoughts were raging with the intensity of Jupiter's stormy red spot. It was honestly the most terrifying feeling of my life being completely out of control of my body and mind and being aware of that reality. All I could do was lay face down in the snow for about 20 minutes until my body cooled down and my mind reached a shaky calm.
Now I really don't know either way if it was laced pot, but since I've quit I haven't had a seizure since or any of those awful internal feelings. I also gave up alcohol because that too was giving me the terrible internal discomfort. Dos Equis was my drink of choice for those curious. Now I just need to drop nicotine and I'll be a free man. Slowly, but surely I'm getting there by weening off it.
Sober life is proving to be a much happier life to lead. I question myself often why I was constantly trying to escape from reality with these mental dampeners. Each day I feel a little bit happier and the world looks better now. My depression is fading away and I'm falling naturally into healthier eating habits and making new friends again. Anyone can do what I'm doing, you just need to quit making excuses and do it. Put your mind to and say YOU CAN DO THIS. I have every reason to be abusing these substances still, but I've been determined to be a better person. I was depressed, suicidal, struggled with eating disorders, had no friends, no girlfriend for many years, abusive family growing up, my hard work being exploited by employers. The list goes on. You can quit, if you first quit the self-doubt.

This is true. I’ve been an Herb connoisseur since was twenty years old, I’m 48yrs young now😎. Over the past two and a half years, I had noticed strange feelings happening inside my body when I smoked my herb. One time I felt like I was about to pass out, everything started to go black, and my heart started racing, so I jumped in the shower and turned on the cold water. It calmed my heart down and my senses started coming back, thank God! Then I noticed over the next year, maybe three times after I would smoke , I would feel funny, and my speech would seem to become slurred, and I would have to stop talking to focus to staying conscious. I would feel like my body was trying to shut down! So I decided after these episodes, to get my medical marijuana card,👍🏼, and leave the black market/street cannabis alone for good. The feelings I started feeling while smoking the street cannabis, has long since gone, and now I can smoke my “legal cannabis”, with a peace of mind, and no worriers of over dosing!!

The "lacing weed" has always been a parents way to minimize what their child was really doing. I'm not sure if anyone has thanked you, but Texas Pictures Documentaries are doing a huge and important service to all of us. The stories are grim and painful. Honestly, they should be. We've got to make people, especially kids, think twice before using any street drug. I don't use marijuana, but it's a shame that a drug that's ubiquitous even where it's not legal, and has never been life threatening in an of itself (accounting for dangerous or bad choices) is now just as much a roll of the dice as fentanyl-laced meth or heroin. I've never read anything that explains the financial motive for dealers to insert fentanyl into these drugs other than the obvious con of cutting their own merchandise before selling it.

Another friend was walking down the street smoking a cigarette. Somebody said, "hey, I'll trade you some smokes for some weed." He agreed, but when he looked at the weed and said, "I changed my mind. Clearly, that weed in moldy. See those white spots?" The guy said, like it was perfectly normal, "Oh, that's not mold. God has the final word on this, judgement is inevitable for corrupt politicians and law enforcement officials .. if there’s anything God hates more than anything else, it’s people who are in positions of power/authority who are hypocrites. That really doesn’t sit well with Jesus Christ. He put all the high priests in their places and the Pharisees who had power over law enforcement & used them for their own personal unlawful vendettas. Right? I know a lot of people don’t know who grew their weed and what’s in it, but you can’t assume no one does. Who could ever give someone weed from the same source, or anything else you didn’t see grown and dried yourself, after a person died in your house, much less three people? Something is wrong with this picture. Weed doesn’t cause such a powerful dependency that people keep smoking it, even if they know the next joint might kill them. Something is wrong with this picture! I don’t smoke weed, but I’ve known plenty of people who do and it doesn’t work like that. You don’t OD on weed. Whomever is responsible, if he thought he was given marijuana, this is a poisoning, not an overdose. I hope it is treated as such.

Weed would not be laced with Fentanyl (it would be a waste of fentanyl and money for sellers) but even if it were somehow “laced” with fentanyl, once ignited the Fentanyl would burn off and not harm the individual smoking it.

This means that even if it is mixed with marijuana flower it will have no effect on a person who is smoking it. And way to live your life in fear. Your god must be weak if you have all that fear.

It's also in the hospitals! My daughter had to have surgery due to a end stage renal disease complication. They gave her fentanyl and she coded... 😡. Their damn lucky they got her back. They also used her dialysis access site for a general blood draw which caused her to have a an additional emergency surgery to repair the access. After that surgery, even though we explicitly told them not to give her fentanyl and it showing her reaction to the initial dosing they again gave her fentanyl... She coded again! 🤬🤬🤬 She survived and I requested a transfer to a different hospital and eventually had to AMA her and take her to a different one for her recovery. Apparently not Even hospitals need to have their hands on this stuff.

As a former heavy weed smoker, and never encountered laced weed in my 20 years of smoking in Texas - I’ve never understood the concept of dealers lacing weed with unknown drugs, it makes no sense…. It would cost the dealer more money, and cost them more time to prepare the product. Majority of people who go buy weed only want to feel high on weed, not high on other stuff (unless they go out seeking other drugs, separately- on a different market then weed). I get cocaine and other heavy drugs being laced- but weed makes no sense. So can someone explain to me the motive? Who does this benefit? …
Edit: After doing a little research , I found that direct heat kills fentanyl. Lacing it in weed literally does nothing for the person smoking weed….
Using tinfoil isn’t direct heat y’all.
Another edit: Do your own research from multiple credible sources. That goes for anything you consume- even the food you buy at the store. Everything has its pros & cons.
