Thank you for introducing Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture! It is easily accessible to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Toyota City, famous for Toyota Motor Corporation, is also rich in nature and has a historic shrine. Nagoya City has Atsuta Shrine, where the Kusanagi Sword, one of the Three Sacred Treasures, is enshrined. The Nagoya Sword Museum exhibits armor, swords, ukiyo-e, and more. Nagoya has a cuisine called Nagoya Meshi, which uses red miso, and includes miso cutlet, miso stewed udon, and miso oden. An eel dish called Hitsumabushi is also famous. Nagoya's summers are hot and humid, but there is an underground shopping mall, so it's nice and cool! Next door is Mie Prefecture, famous for Ise Shrine, and Shizuoka Prefecture, famous for Mount Fuji. I would like to introduce more, but I'll stop here 😊
I went to uni in Nagoya in around 2009. I absolutely loved my time there. I didn’t know the castle is closed these days - I have a few photos from inside so they’re even more previous now.
I'm chinese high school student. Sorry, I don't understand English at all, but I enjoy your videos ! These are really interesting and attractive! I'm rooting for your channel❤❤❤
Nagoya is located halfway between the two major cities, Tokyo and Osaka, so it's a city that tourists tend to pass right by, so as a Nagoya resident, I'm happy to see Nagoya getting attention!
Great to see you back in Japan and far away from those pesky One Pack Wanderers who are in my home town of Australia. As usual your video work and editing was excellent. I was interested in Nagoya as that is where my Gretsch guitar is made & I found your Nagoya highlights very entertaining, looking forward to the next.
😂😂 Re OPW. You're officially Bill's favorite viewer. He owns a number of guitars but none of them are a Gretch. When we're in Japan, he goes to guitar shops - just to look. 😉😁
Thank you very much for your posting! I'm glad that you have enjoyed the trip! I learned from Japanese TV show that Nakasendou中山道 (Magome馬籠~Tsumago妻籠) is called Samurai road👟 The autumn leaves season is from late October to late November, Please enjoy hiking including Nakasendou (Samurai road)🎒
Oh, you Americans don't know Baumkuchen? It's a German cake and popular in Japan. It was originally introduced in Japan by a German who was captured in World War Ⅰ.
The plans to rebuild Nagoya Castle are to try and make it more authentic. The current structure is concrete, so it obviously wasn't made like the original castle. The castle's palace was rebuilt in recent years in wood with in the traditional way, so now the goal is to rebuild Nagoya Castle in the same way. They claim to have historic blueprints, so they say they can rebuild it in a way that will be historically accurate in construction and materials, so although it is reconstructed, it will will still have historic value.
So I'm thinking, Why not ring every bear bell that you come across and carry a tickling bell with you as you traverse the Nakasendo trail? Probably, the bells have a vanishingly small protection factor against bear attack. But as a ritual expression of being at one with the experience of the trail, and a rather tasteful souvenir to take home, the bells must rate second to none.
Love this travel series every time, Heather & Bill!😍 I’m excited to see what the next episode will be like though. Can't wait! By the way, it would be awesome if you could check your inbox - we've sent you an email!🤗

Are you back in Japan? Your tour was very on-point. Your video about Nagoya was also very good. I'm looking forward to your next video.
Ha, when we hiked in Shiretoko, Hokkaido, we had bear bells hooked onto our backpacks 😂
彼らはかなりの距離を歩くルートの旅行行程ですね。😊

America wasn't as good at the "POW" thing as Japan, so they were never shown the baumkuchen even today.
Do a video on your opinions of all your travels. Which country or city will you relocate to if you want? Share more about yourselves.
You missed Gujo-Hachiman.

FX「SHOGUN」が2024「エミー賞」18冠です!!将軍‐徳川家康は名古屋のすぐ近くの岡崎市出身ですよ。ああ、名古屋を旅行したい。

機会がありましたら是非とも上高地に来てください😊✋
Ha, I wouldn’t stick my face that low on the ground trying to spot a frog 😂
😁😁😁
Lol at 0:22, I thought you said Nude Jiggly Theme Park!
Omg, 😂😂😂
That would be a *very* different theme park. 😂
So I'm thinking,

Miss you guys! Maybe you’re cooking up something even more amazing?! Ha
