We put a small piece of shade cloth over the edge of our ponds or water dishes to make it easier for them to climb out. Also water holds less oxygen as it warms up so a small fountain will help oxygenate the water. Our daughter got a small one that floats around on the surface of the water and is solar powered. Cost very little on Amazon from memory. We put ice blocks in with our worms on hot days to keep them going.
I do have a water pump in the pond that pump water across from one side of the pond to the other so it circulates and air rates the water, you can see it around the time code of 2.34 But a little solar pump would be nice as well 👍
I'm back doing work for Mack1 again next year, they're running out of mechanics 😬 I be there 2 days a week and work my other job with the trucks / sand quarry the other two days..... well that's the plan.
I don't usually see to many of them around. I do know all about those. I was digging a mound of dirt to clear a drain and I dug into their nest. Was back when I was a teenager and I got stung pretty bad.
I love it when bees come visit in the van. I just joke with them, tell them it's not a bee hove and they toddle on out the back of the van 😁🙏🇦🇺
They sometimes come inside the cabin as well, especially at night as they're attracted to the lights.

Glen you are truly a animal lover is their hive close by
I do the same with bees in the pool. Totally harmless. I actually let them crawl onto my hand
