A bit of an important correction for the kou sayo tamer in galaxy mirage. While yes its a memory setter, its effect is important not for swapping level 6 digimon, but cheating evolutions in other ways. Basicly any egg-less rookie can get evolved into a level 4, get swapped back by the rookie to gain 2, and use the tamer to swap around BACK to the level 4 and get a level 5 for free, or evolve a seperate level 5 stack into a 6 for free. The latter is really deadly with Garduamon as if you do establish a level 4 out of rasing you can slap garuda down, play the tamer, and then have instant access to evolve garuda into your level 6 reds like Dinomon or MedievalGallantmon. Theres other aplications, but suffice to say its never been really used to unevolve your level 6 digimon outside of actual Gracenova decks
Yeah a friend of mine more familiar with the deck was telling me about this earlier today. With two stacks, the tamer can be really crazy, especially with the Garuda, being able to use the 2nd stack to pop into a Lv6 for free! That's some really cool tech! Thanks for sharing!
One thing of that makes the Koh strong is after your side Lunamon evolves into gao then reverts back to gain 2, when you cheat your main stack's evo, you also turn the lunamon back into gaomon, so its set up to be a battery again next turn.
Gigimon EX2 into Guilmon P041 does allow you to go into three draws. One for Gigimon, one for digivolving, and one for Guilmon. East was actually right on this one.
Yeah, I thought about that the first time I saw it But then seconds after he says "And these options also give you 2 draws", so I assume he was only talking about card effects and not draw from evolution /editor
I’m curious, are Digimon cards sometimes extra expensive in Japan like in the West with stuff like Gallantmom X, or are the prices more reasonable in Japan? Love the content and meta reports 😁
Most cards are really cheap! There are some standouts in really generic good cards, things like ruin mode, deathX, MagnaX, Medieval Gallant, etc. also newer cards are typically more expensive
If you like uw control mother/shoto decks are similar slow grindy control decks. Black hybrid or sec con stuff is usually what's paired with it but you can kinda throw anything in there as long as it doesnt need a rookie
Thanks for the recommendations big dawg! I haven’t played Magic in a Loooooooooooong time (back in high school lol) so I don’t have a reference point. But it sounds like decks like JustimonX with mother d-reaper could be good. You can establish control with mother and the device cards and then use Justimon to OTK
What garuda ace allows you to do is, hard play him, play out the tamer, "dedigi" your LCNF stack and evo into Medieval or Dino on top of Garuda Ace. Oops sorry someone else said this before me :p
I bet it's the same old same old. Probably messing around with 1-2 hercules ace and maybe 1 medieval Gallant. I myself im thinking of adding 1 medieval and 1 dinomon in tyrant for the red hybrid and purple hybrid matchups.
Ppl are saying it's the same but I can't find it on digimon cg guide and the latest list was on 12/22/2024 and it ran no MedivalGallant I'm not sure where to find the list tho I do think adding the NSPs is a must now
My problem with tyrant deck is the available room for new card like 1 or 2 new cards mean 1 or 2 less from other so some strategies become less probably.. in my case im trying 2 of the new megakabuterimon lv5 that trashes top secu on deletion.. going 5 trashers on deletion with the promo megakabuterimon and 2 scrambles for comeback (i replaced 1 geeen memo and 1 agility training)
Am I the only one who is bothered by decks that use cards that have nothing to do with their archetype? they just mix strong generic things in the decks and that's it
On the one hand, yeah Onnthe other, the issue was much worse in yugioh (which i quitted to come here) so here it feels more tame (no Baronne everywhere for example)
I think both versions have their uses in the deck. I actually use 2 of each, but my build is different from most folks. It’s way more resource oriented!

Let's goooo Gallantmon/Dukemon enjoyers rise up!
I recently won a case tourney with Gallant here in the US! 🎉 Dukemon too strong
It's been 1,055 days since a Rasenmon was printed 🦔
4:00 my dude forgot how galaxy tool works, no need to evolve into light fang o night claw, just evolve into whatever for free using tamer
top card has to be light fang or night claw for tamer

Meta relevant cards tend to be reasonable, 5k yen to 6k yen. Which is like 30 usd to 40 per pc

I appreciate how streamlined your list is East.
Is Calumon still viable at all, or has deck space gotten too tight?
I actually haven’t messed with Calumon much. My list now is very X-antibody focused. Has anyone else given Calumon a shot and can share some feedback?
but can gallant handle the blue dog that keeps asking you ‘how many cards in hand?’🤔
we’ll have to wait and see for the dust to settle in the west
Yass!! Been waiting for ex8 meta update. Thanks east! What do you recommend for a magic player who likes to play azorilus control and rakdos midrange

does anyone have the tyrant list? I'm trying to see how the topping lists for the deck are looking
Literally same as always except with medieval gallant lmao

@@OseiTheWarriors yeah, my main thing was that i couldn't really find any newer lists, so i was curious how that one that topped here looked like

Have you experimented with Cool Boys in your Gallant list?
Check out my recent deck profile for Gallantmon on the channel!
How did you feel about proto form in your build?
It’s useful in most cases but I don’t want it when I am going into GallantX. I want the unsuspend during attack so if I keep turn, I can swing again.
I was just about to go to the latam finals with magna X, now im between purple hybrid and magna X, gallantmon X is seriously scary 🫠
Love to know what Beelzemon deck won
East please show the xros heart decklist pls 🙏
i want to see a justimon x list
im trying to make it to a very good level but i need more ideas
Got 3 version either machine cyborg, or doru soc engine and the worst of them all mother shoto justiX… seems the strongest of them all
@@Salty010 I’m testing mother shoot with justi x with device and I have to say that think work so well
No purple hybrid list :/
They are all the same tho
Ancient garu still strong? Wow
Nah it just got lucky, keep in mind japan is best of 1 where hybrid decks get a huge boost by being highly consistent
Am I the only one who is bothered by decks that use cards that have nothing to do with their archetype? they just mix strong generic things in the decks and that's it
Yes
On the one hand, yeah
Onnthe other, the issue was much worse in yugioh (which i quitted to come here) so here it feels more tame (no Baronne everywhere for example)
No, you are not alone in this train of thought
That’s archaic thinking. General application allows for creativity and some of the coolest decks.
The Best idea to adapt to this i s to think You are playing Digimon cyber sleuth, since You don't necesary follow the Digimon línea when digivolving
TEA PYRAMIDIMON
Bout to become Gallants biggest hater 😂
Do you find 2 copies of either X-antibody option cards to be just enough or do find yourself wishing you had more sometimes ?
I think both versions have their uses in the deck. I actually use 2 of each, but my build is different from most folks. It’s way more resource oriented!
