- G'day legends, here I show you how to install a brand new Coast to Coast door/hatch into new checkerplate at the back of our@MarvelRV Thunderstorm Twin Bunk Van.
I don't like any unused space in the van so I will try and utilise it if I can.

Awesome. I trick I have if you cut a hole just big enough in the centre of where it is going to fit your hands and a tape in then you can measure where the floor and top are from the outside and it save you having to crawl inside and drill those pilot holes.

I used a stud finder to check if there was anything in the wall but it Is nerve wrecking cutting into it that’s for sure! 😬
@@GrabLifeByTheGourlays - Does Aluminium get picked up by a stud finder ? I would have just gone from the extremity of where you drilled your 1st hole ?
@brhino our stud finder picks up anything that’s out of the ordinary behind the panel whether it be aluminium, wood, steel etc. or frame is timber anyway! 🤙🏽
