A couple turkey hunters drove directly beneath us, even stopping 15 yards from us and never looked up. Makes me believe your average deer is much more observant, LOL!

I dont know if it was from binge watching all yours and thps videos but I managed to kill 2 really nice buck this year. I've hunted 7 years and only ever killed one decent buck before this year. Thanks for the videos keep em coming!
Awesome hunts and nice buck! I've been watching the hunting beast for about a year, and man has it made a difference in my hunting success.I filled both Illinois buck tags by November 8th and all on public. I never thought it was possible. Lol
Mario or Dan, in regards to the buck tolerating the scent on the access that they're used to smelling scent. I've witnessed several times a buck following my scent trail nose to the ground that I'd put down a few hours earlier. In spots where they aren't used to it. And to clarify I don't use any cover scent, it was human scent they were following. And this is small parcel, heavily hunted area
Ive seen that too.. Every deer reacts different, and where the scent is effects them different too... like if a buck smells your scent in a cornfield or acorn flat is different than if he smells you 100 yards from his bedroom.

Awesome walkthrough of the hunt and everything that made it successful. I enjoy how you guys break down the hunt and the thought process involved leading up to the kill. Too many guys out there just making kill videos. Maybe some people enjoy that, but the hardcore REAL hunters out there are always learning, always adapting, always changing things up, I soak it all in, and because of that, I am much more successful at finding and killing bigger mature bucks. Nice job Mario, I shot my best buck ever this season on the ground by the cattails he was bedding in. Sometimes you just have to adapt to the only options you have, and take a risk. I like the way you go into stealth mode. Feels like we think alike. Again congrats, and keep smiling.

Great deer. Had a similar buck like the first one you got on your phone camera. Beautiful 5 on left side and the other side was deformed with about 10 or 11 points on the right but about 2/3 the size of the left. Missed him cleanly at 10 yds. New crossbow and was anticipating the jump and not sure of the scope at 10yds. 20 yd hair same for 30yd. Arrow was passed him before he even reacted to the sound of the bow. Lesson learned. Great job 👍 Was told years ago that what causes the abnormalities is an injury to the leg on the opposite side of the deer in which the rack that is abnormal. Again great video. Glad your alright. Was wondering where you been.

I was more lucky than her.. she almost lost her life due to blood clots caused by the virus and is still fighting it being a healthy 36 year old.. covid is real no matter who you vote for..
