Who's watching this because of the new God of War game?
I'm from the Faroe Islands (a Viking colony from around year 800), and we still have a lot of remnants of the "Old Ways" in our language, myths and place names. For example, our word for "president" is "forseti", which actually also is the Norse god of justice and reconciliation, literally meaning "the presiding one". The capital of the Faroe Islands is called Tórshavn, meaning Thor's Harbor. I just find the stories interesting, and gives a look into the lives of my ancestors. :)

You should do videos about Norse mythology as a whole. I love hearing about different belief structures and cultures that aren't explored as much anymore: Norse, Egyptian, Native American even. Hindi and Shinto would be interesting to hear about too
You should read some Irish folk lore and myths and legends or such

it really explores the norse religion in a way thats interesting so the kratos is a hero
in the real world norse faith the norse gods are defenders of humans but they obviously had to make it to were the gods are bad to make them the antagonists to keep Kratos a good guy lol
the devs plan on exploring the egyptian,japanese,chinese,celtic,and mayan faiths and hopefully they explore the aztec,cannanite,babylon,abrahamic/satanic,slavic, and african faiths

I know this video is 4 years old but I just found out that pagan/Norse storytelling asmr was a thing and as a very proud pagan myself it’s so refreshing to see videos that are not only relaxing but accurate. Well done on finding a book that told these stories in chronological order.
This was really good. I generally don't like whispers that much, but you always nail it when reading. Also like the subtle tapping. I am Nordic myself, and there's a lot to this that I didn't know. Although I did fall asleep before I could absorb it all, haha.

Busy playing God Of War 4, which is based on Norse mythology. Interesting to get the original lore which so many stories have used in modern times. All the different interpretations of the same story really.

Side note it would be interesting to see someone consolidate all the Mythologies to show which ones have similarities and put it in chronological order. As a Stargate fan that was one of my favorite things about the show is how they tied them all in to our history.
If you go back and compare all of those religions they are actually basically the same. Christianity was based on several existing religions.
