NCT U is basically composed of anyone in NCT. The lineup changes per song depending on which members fit it the most. It's always a some sort of combination of members from 127, Dream, or WayV. It's a fun way to showcase the incredible caliber of talent in the group.
Thanks for your reaction, guys! These are the founding fathers! This exact formation was the first one to debut within the NCT brand (with The 7th Sense, which I highly recommend - one of the best debuts and way ahead of its time) and they're back for the first time after 7 years. Four members from the 7th sense and baggy jeans are also in nct127, which is my favourite subunit. Their sound is experimental and might be a lot to take for some people, but they have a sound and concept only nct can pull off, and that's what nctzens love the most! Dream used to have softer concepts, but they switched up lately when it comes to their title tracks :) Looking forward to more great reactions from you guys,

btw there are no set members for NCT U! NCT is made up of three sub units (127, dream, and wayv). the NCT U title (aka NCT United) means a combination of different members from the three units in one song. so the lineup is constantly changing and mix / matching members every release

Pls check WayV too they are also NCT subunit they sing Chinese and English songs I would recommend Love Talk and take off first and also TEN NCT solo songs, he is a member of NCT U (ex. Baggy Jeans, 90’s love ) and WayV member. You won’t disappoint for sure😊 I’d recommend Paint Me Naked, Birtgday, New Heroes and Dream in a Dream they are all English songs hope you will check them all😊he is truly ACE

I thought about NCT dream songs that I like and I came up with Glitch mode/Broken Melodies and Hot Sauce
You gotta check out Golden Hour, the solo song from Mark Lee (NCT's main rapper + dancer). Kick It by NCT 127 and Make A Wish by NCT U are also one of the good ones to check out.
What makes "Baggy Jeans" extra special is that this is NCT-U's original debut lineup back together again. This is really just them going back to their roots. All 5 members -- Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Jaehyun and Doyoung -- were the very first members out of all of the NCT members to debut in April 2016. They were the first installment of NCT-U and the first of all of NCT's sub-units to be introduced to the world. Ten said not too long ago in an interview that he wanted to do another project with the members of their debut song "The 7th Sense" because it had been more than 7 years since he had done anything with just those members. I'm so happy that SM was listening and that his wish came true.
And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of the song is pretty much how the majority of NCT songs are structured, as well as SM's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM. As you are starting to discover, the company designs their songs to have parts where they highlight the group's amazing dance skills and other sections that show off their unbelievable vocals and unique rap styles.
NCT -- which stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology -- currently has 20 members. And the group right now as a whole has 4 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream and WayV.
*Taeyong is the leader of all of NCT, a main rapper and dancer who is also a member of NCT-127 and SuperM; Ten is a main dancer -- one of the best dancers in the industry -- and a lead vocalist, who is also a member of WayV and SuperM; *Mark is a main rapper and dancer, who is also a member of NCT-172, the leader of NCT-Dream and a member of SuperM; *Jaehyun is a main vocalist, sub-rapper and visual, who is also a member of NCT-127; and Doyoung is a main vocalist, who is also a member of NCT-127.
Everything NCT does is about dreams, dreaming or being in a dream state. Therefore, that is what is being shown in their "Baggy Jeans" MV, and what you will see being repeated and referenced in all of their MVs across all of their sub-units. And on top of all that, it's often part of SM Entertainment's SM Culture Universe storyline, so it could be connected to all of SM's other groups' MVs and stories, which is why NCT MVs often have a futuristic, otherworld look and feel to them.
NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL
NCT-U is made up of pretty much all the NCT members, they just add and subtract members from all the other sub-units depending on the concept for the song. NCT-U songs span a wide range of styles and genres and can include anywhere for all 20 current members or only 1 or 2 members. The U stands for United, but I also like to think of it as Universal because of the way the group never has a fixed number of members. This sub-unit is designed to be fluid, which means the group is constantly changing and rearranging its members with every song.
NCT is one of the most internationally diverse groups in all of Kpop. The members as a whole currently represent 8 different countries and they speak 7 or 8 different languages. For example, there are 9 native Korean members (*Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, *Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, and Jungwoo), *Mark is Korean-Canadian, *Johnny is Korean-American (from Chicago), Yuta is Japanese, *Ten is Thai, *YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, they all live and work in Korea, so everyone speaks Korean fluently. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so there are several members who are also *fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages.
NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. They soon will be adding new members and creating a Japanese sub-unit. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc.
So, this year is NCT's 7th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies, so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted.

FMPOV, Absolutely NCT U has most of my favorite title tracks, but I bias NCT 127 & NCT DOJAEJUNG. Anyway, Taeyong, Doyoung & Jaehyun are always in NCT U's title track.

nct u is reallyy cool cause i, personally, think they choose the right ones to sing and dance to the song they do, like, nct u is all of nct, but they can pick members from the other subunits, idk if you guys understood, but they can choose any of the 20 members to sing a nct u song, so, i think they choose the member who fits better with the concept of the new song. In my opinion, that´s why nct u songs are always FIREEE, it´s really difficult to find a nct u song i dont like. For example: they have a song called ´from home´ and it is a song with only vocalists and it is SOOOOO GOOD, like, REALLY good, i think they chose the right people to sing and it makes it look perfect. It is like you can do a group with idols of other groups, they have different ups and downs, so you can choose the better for each thing.
