I live in the UK and was carrying a pea shooter which I had bought for my son and had it confiscated by police who said it was a potentially dangerous weapon.
I think it's important to consider that if you go for a disarm or resist in a situation like this it's not just your life and safety you put at risk. Not saying you should never go for the disarm, but keeping this in mind when deciding if you need to go for a disarm or not is paramount. In this case I don't think the bad guy really wanted to shoot anyone and they would have been better off losing a lil cash and some cell phones, but none of them knew that when a guy with a gun came in. I've 'had to' (morally, as it was to stop a suicide of a loved one) disarm a person, in two separate occasions....who were armed with two of the scariest things I can think of: a knife and pure intent to achieve their goal. In both cases, I just accepted "I'm going to have to sacrifice something to that blade, more than likely...and it might be my life" before trying. Each time, I was *lucky* .....not skill, luck. When faced with the actual challenge: I was not only lacking confidence in my ability to take that blade....I was very aware that failure was a very likely option, the outcomes of which were horrific. I hope I never have to disarm a person again and I sincerely hope none of you are ever in a situation like that! Please: If you are struggling, seek help! Even attempting the alternative... it's devastating to those that love you, and there *are* those that love you! 2:18 you’d be surprised how many transactions are handled in cash in real estate. It’s usually not a small amount of cash either. A lot of people might bring a pile of cash to a closing. And that’s here in America. Also, there are a lot of real estate brokers who carry, here in America, at least. It’s not usually, but it can be a dangerous business, going out in the evening to show a property, alone, to an unknown person. I’ve had more than one instance myself where I unknowingly walked into a property that was supposed to be vacant and wasn’t, so that’s also a risk that’s not zero. It’s my understanding that in the days of may issue, being a broker was a cause to issue in some jurisdictions, though I can’t cite where I got that. 9:20 also, I wouldn’t bet on that being a hollow core door, none of the doors in the brokerages that I’m familiar with are(including the storeroom doors and even the mechanical room doors in the garage). I don’t think it’s a security awareness, just that a lot of older office buildings just weren’t built that way, sound deadening and what not. Might have been in this case, though.

There's usually cash sitting in a glass tip jar, which has caused some buskers problems. In every video I've seen, OC spray seems to shut the bad guys down immediately. Plan A for us is to comply and hope the bad guys go away. Plan B is the OC spray. Plan C is to fight for my life and hope for the best. Thanks for your work!

What's the lesson here?.. if you're going to be a hero, know that others might get hurt if you fail. Nothing wrong with trying to save lives, but you better know the consequences if you fail in any way. So what's the right thing to do in these sort of situations? Pray that no one gets hurt, and then whatever happens happens.
for anyone who needs to hear it, if ur this far u probably shouldnt go for the gun, if its just barely in reach to where u can poke it with ur fingers, u could try getting closer and securing the wrists instead of the gun but idk dont blame me if u get shot
The dude in gray could have counter ambushed the bad guy. For a second there when he got down behind that table. He could have drew something and fired from underneath the table… I personally typically carry two guns. One 9mm full size appendix, and a very small LWS-380 in my pocket or wallet holster. If the guy in gray was pocket carrying. He could definitely have drawn and gotten lower torso hits on the bad guy. Probably the guy in gray could have drawn from almost any carry position. Once he got on his knees behind the table there… anyway a lot of people poo poo the idea of carrying a second pistol. Jon I know in the past you’ve told how you sometimes carry a 380 as well as your VP9 or whatever. Jon could you make a video. On the strengths of having a second gun? Especially with one gun in pocket. You can discretely get a hand on gun in different situations. That you may not want to do that with your main weapon. And a “New York” reload is always quicker. That and if your main gun malfunctions or you are disarmed or otherwise unable to use your main gun. A very small semi automatic backup can be a really useful tool. I know some people think it’s overkill and unnecessary. But a lot of experts advocate carrying two guns if you carry. I’m 6’3 300lbs so I can easily conceal carry two guns. Not everyone can but I would love to see you guys at ASP do a video on the pros and cons of carrying a “backup gun” sometime? If you don’t already have one out? Anyway love your work guys! I guarantee ASP has helped save lives at this point! God bless you guys! Sincerely-Justin

Plan A for us is to comply and hope the bad guys go away. Plan B is the OC spray. Plan C is to fight for my life and hope for the best. Thanks for your work!
Impossible for the law abiding to carry a gun, but every criminal has a gun.
Do RS offices keep large amouts of cash?
It's mexico...who knows what they do there.
@@user-gt7ji9of9z good Point
How poor do you have to be for a crime like that to make sense?
Not even. Dudes who aren't poor murder people over $20
Why on earth is it not just the 6 D's?
John, just "cut to the chase" and wear a toga.... 💙💙💙
The comment about putting the table and other stuff behind the door is like the first time I've disagreed with ASP. I think it could have been cut. I must emphasize I've been watching multiple vids daily for a months now. Every other statement thus far feels potent and accurate. Content of the highest quality👌
What about that don’t you agree with? Why wouldn’t you want a harder barrier between you and the bad guy?
What would you have them do? Use the table as a medieval shield?
The fact that he racks after entering should tell you something...
Jon roundout that beard! And I swear yall look like brothers or cousins
Poor kid
In Mexico not only do a large percentage of crimes go unsolved, the conviction rate is atrocious.
I bet that was his wife and they were customers looking to buy a home.
No way. The dude was blind to that woman and her needs. He was a coward to not check on her.
@@ambivertical You know nothing. Stop making an ass out of yourself in the eyes of anyone with a functioning brain.
Why can’t I see it?
for anyone who needs to hear it, if ur this far u probably shouldnt go for the gun, if its just barely in reach to where u can poke it with ur fingers, u could try getting closer and securing the wrists instead of the gun but idk dont blame me if u get shot
You have to know your capability and limitations before engaging someone especially when there are other innocent people involved.
But are the consequences of not trying to disarm just as high? Always try I say.
The Three A's. Crime can happen to Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime. Be armed, Be trained, Be ready.
Some thing about them adding another person makes this video feel less serious like a "post-game" NFL show
UT vs Texas Tech shirt wearing asses lol.
Great video and lessons as always guys
Damn
Wether have and not need. Then to need and I have.
And what our lawyers cost.
If those other people jumped into action as well they could've restrained this guy until the cops came. Oh well.... 🤷♂️
Or if they just complied they would have just been robbed and that woman wouldn't have been shot in the face.
@@skankhunt3624 You sound like those district attorney's who'd charge a defender instead of the perp. “JUsT cOmPlY bRo!!" 😐🤦♂️
@@skankhunt3624 Also this is Mexico. If someone pulls a gun on you, they are more than likely going to use it. What a world we live in... 😐🤦♂️
Their chakras weren't powerful enough to defeat Pancho-son. Shame.
@@ElMundoSuave Yeah man!! 😖 If only they'd just comply and allowed Madara to take away all the bijuu's... Sigh.... 😞
Consuela got clipped.
Robbers going for phones is the weirdest thing to me... especially in mexico were hes gonna get like 100 Pesos
They are so greedy of people.
Real estate agent that collects rent and it must have been rent day. I used to pay mine in cash, envelope through a door
Dude got a innocent person shot in the face because of a failed disarm just give ts up man they ended up getting all there stuff taken anyways dying over money that isn’t yours is insanely dumb
hey i watch your show from mexico, and they never get cought
nothing in that office is worth your life
This is a realistic implementation of Detroit Urban Survival Training (DUST) unfortunately.
The couch potatoe had plenty of opportunities.
didn’t you already post this video already?
Nope. We don't reupload.
