This is why Dame Evelyn is the the greatest percussionist EVER! These are great peices of music. I submit the percussion trough out really keep the other instruments in proper context. The percussion speaks to the mind distracting it to listen through the other instruments. As you follow the percussion you see where the other instruments are going. The percussion is lyrical and taking you to an unfamiliar place passed the familiar classic instrument sounds. Just beautiful .
