I work for Avis. Driven everything from a Kia to a Benz. The Escape is the best all around vehicle I've ever driven. I bought one, and love it. Thanks, Ford!

This was a great review! Most in depth I've seen. I have mine on order in Columbus Ohio and I've been anxiously anticipating it. I've probably watched every video on RUclips about them. Very well done! I'd love a demo of what Siri and Apple CarPlay integration is like....like actual hands free texting people and calling people, reading texts, etc.

Fantastic video. This is very informative and presented extremely well. Many dealers try to do this with much less success. I liked this enough to subscribe. Thank you for making a direct comparison between the two model years.
By the way there is a novelty about the "kick" power tailgate: it is now available with the trailer hitch because Ford is now using 2 sensors on each side of it. Before there was only one sensor that was deleted if the trailer hitch was ordered.

that is honestly very impressive. I was already considering this and a Japanese and 2 other vehicles, and this very well have made up my mind on what to get. thanks for the video! I want a suv that has good towing, good size, very useful technology, and where the style is very bold. a suv is meant to have fun to take it off the road with AWD, pull heavy things, be put to work, and also provide all of the needs to make the ride as comfortable and effortless as possible so us as drivers are not locked in the drive but comfortable in it. thanks Ford for making it great!

@11:38 the door arm rest are still to low unless you have ape arms. Wish I'd been on the focus group for that one. Also, all suv types should have either ventilated or cooled seats that 's something I wish the Escape had but you need to move up a class. Oh and the auto lift gate not a big fan,

Yes, Zen! My wife and I couldn't afford a new 2020 Titanium Escape. Went back to the 2017 model year. The one we want has 21,000 miles on it. It doesnt have the Tow package ll on it. It has the 2.0 turbocharged 4 cylinder engine AWD 80 / 20. The back tires start turn at slightest slipage of the front tires. Then this puppy comes alive with the 245 hp and 275 torque turbo engine. The handling is awesome. My wife and I aren't little people. I am 6'3 245 pds and my wife is 5"8. We fit in this Crossover SUV just fine. The Panaramic Roof is a must! We still have a CD collection of greatest hits. Yes, The 2017 Titanium Escape has a CD player on top of the dash too. Along with Sirius. The one when are going to buy on Monday is about $20,000. Which is a good price for all the technology you get. We looked for 3 weeks. Before we will pull the trigger on this fine Crossover/SUV. Top in it class. I think! This will be our first SUV. Both our cars have over 165,000 miles on them. We are close to retirement age. Hope to have this Titanium Escape for the same amount of time. Hope this helps you on your decision on your next purchase. Shawn.

Ford SUVs are starting to look like Hyundais & Subarus in the front. Also, the tail lights look almost like the Forester's tail lights, but other wise both of those Escapes look nice.

Other than that I have to commend Ford on improving that front end appearance. They can now pass the 'Ugly Front End ' trophy to Lexus.

I've heard rumors about Ford reintroducing the ranger back in the States. True? Anything you can add per a dealer perspective would be great! Keep up the great work. . . As a current Ford Escape owner, thanks for a great review! My question is:
On the 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium, there is an option for cooled seats. This seems to bring the vehicle aligned with the Lincoln product line which offers cooled seats on all of their vehicles. Is Ford Motor Company considering, or will they consider, adding cooled seats to their 2017 Escape Titanium? It currently is offered on the 2017 Lincoln MKC and I think it's a great feature, having sat in a Lincoln in the summer heat here in Ohio, and I'm certain that it would be a useful feature for your customers down in Alabama.
P.S. Personally I would love to see the front camera on the 2017 Ford Escape that they have in the 2017 Ford Edge, but I'm grateful for all of the improvements they have made so far!

+William Tarter Jr. Thanks for that! Unfortunately the A/C seats are still not offered on the 2017 Escape. Ford is trying to set a gap between the Edge and the Escape making the Edge the more luxurious of the two. Maybe someday!
