Me and many fans want Sega and Atlus to work things out and have either DMC 5 Nero, or DMC 5 Vergil as a guest character/recruitable party member in the next mainline SMT game.

I swear, defeating a boss in this game almost feels as-if not even more, gratified then beating Dark Souls bosses. There is just something about winning boss battles in this game that feels so..fresh and badass. Dante is one of those bosses, along with stuff like the Fiends.
I agree. With Dark Souls you basically throw yourself at a boss again and again, and eventually just gain the proper muscle memory to beat it. It's hard af, but it's not nearly as rewarding as having to actually concoct a working strategy to kill some of the bosses in this game. Then again, I'm sure a lot of people will just look up a walkthrough and claim that it "wasn't that hard," smh...
Fun fact: the SFX sample at the beginning of this song is the same SFX sample as the one used in the 5th Japanese opening for Pokemon, which I think about a lot. Similarly, the sample used at 1:17 is also in the Ninetails battle theme from Megaman X: Command Mission. Seems like there's lots of general SFX samples in this song.

Holy Star is one of the reasons why I barely get the win well technically draw but whatever thanks to Holy Star I can't debuff him thanks to that immunity to all -da skills/abilities/spells meaning I have to fight him at his best.
Same along with starting sweating in fear due to how much of a nightmare he's going to be. Imagine if Sega, and Atlus managed to score a deal with Capcom and instead of Dante it's Virgil as the guest character in SMT5.

Im still fucking shock when i saw Dante, because the first time i played Nocturne was using an emulator so it didn’t warn me like “featuring Dante from DMC”
so, who else peed their pants during the Dante chase. serious ANY sequence where you're being chased by a human/monster trying to kill you just scares me.
It also doesn't help that he's shooting you slowing you down so he can use stringer and run away while mocking you that he reset the switches and when you activate all the switch he just wait at the exit for you. And Dante is so scary that you don't even get a Random encounter in those areas.
You spend nearly an entire game in an overworld where nothing moves except Demi-Fiend, and suddenly you're being chased down by DANTE in a MAZE of all things and it's jarring as hell

Dante just having some fun. he could actually kick your ass without effort but he doesn't really care so he barely makes an attempt to win. which is the only reason you won, he is clearly over SMT level 99, at least way more than 3x.
Heh. One of my favorite scenes in this game was the one where Dante chased after you at the Labyrinth. Because i loved this soundtrack so damn much I intentionally prolonged the battle as much as I could. Too bad Dante's A.I. was impressive enough to one-shot my group from time to time lol. Even at level 99, Dante killed me and wiped my party if I was too cocky and didn't watch for his Crit-hits and Taunts.

ESPECIALY in the first battle. it's like he KNOWS that by killing your support demon, he,ll have the advantage. Or he,ll go straight for the throat and murder YOU, which sucks so badly. And i remmeebr the final battle with him. I sneered as he tried to go through my karn shields, and was punished for it with an instant party-wipe from Showtime! Lesson learned, do not diss Nocturne bosses.

shin megami tensei is a horror game where dante from devil may cry is constantly hunting you down narrow corridors filled with dead ends and a batshit insane encounter rate with unfair battles constantly pops up. every time he finds you he flexes on you with stylish gunfire then you run away only for it to happen all over again. you escape only for him to beat your ass right after.
Damn,I was first introduced to persona then I saw this game in gamestop and I said to myself "hey this looks kinda similar to persona lemme give a try so I can practice and be ready for persona" but the practice I had was not an easy one of course THIS this is the equivalent to damn having fun in a damn RPG and this was my first megaten game experience,and I have already completed this game true demon ending no help at all whats so ever,no experience to any of the shin megami tensei games,and had to figure everything out on my own . To my experience and ratings this was my most favorite megaten game I have ever played even more worth playing than persona. Note: (I still love both series equally)

I'm playing the remaster and instead of getting the DLC decided to go with Radou as he was not in the original Nocturne release. And surprisingly this track makes the battle just as epic.

It's a shame that Atlus isn't gonna be able to include Dante in the SMT: Nocturne remaster / remake on the Switch, but it was probably licensing issues. Dante's inclusion was actually the driving point in my interest in this game, since I grew up with DMC...and I stayed for the rest, even if I got my rear kicked a lot. Edit: I stand corrected....Dante might actually get in, but most likely as DLC. Hey, at least we have both Raidou and Dante in the game now.

True Demon Ending? what about True DANTE Ending? instead of Lucifer you fight Dante in Majin Form and the ending show that the Demi-Fiend and Dante goes to the DmC universe to kills Donte and Virgin.
They got stronger after the first game and Demi-Fiend was at his max power in his boss fight (Remember that almighty attacks were the only way to hurt him and he was containing his power with mid-game skills) Also, remember the rings of DDS2. One of them boosts absurdly all your stats.

Heh. One of my favorite scenes in this game was the one where Dante chased after you at the Labyrinth. Because i loved this soundtrack so damn much I intentionally prolonged the battle as much as I could. Too bad Dante's A.I. was impressive enough to one-shot my group from time to time lol. Even at level 99, Dante killed me and wiped my party if I was too cocky and didn't watch for his Crit-hits and Taunts.
+dantespimp The thing about Dante is that he will often target the weakest link in the group. ESPECIALY in the first battle. it's like he KNOWS that by killing your support demon, he,ll have the advantage. Or he,ll go straight for the throat and murder YOU, which sucks so badly.
And i remmeebr the final battle with him. I sneered as he tried to go through my karn shields, and was punished for it with an instant party-wipe from Showtime!
Lesson learned, do not diss Nocturne bosses.
I play as him like that in Devil may cry 2 when i fight Arius and kill his weak links first.

Damn,I was first introduced to persona then I saw this game in gamestop and I said to myself "hey this looks kinda similar to persona lemme give a try so I can practice and be ready for persona" but the practice I had was not an easy one of course THIS this is the equivalent to damn having fun in a damn RPG and this was my first megaten game experience,and I have already completed this game true demon ending no help at all whats so ever,no experience to any of the shin megami tensei games,and had to figure everything out on my own . To my experience and ratings this was my most favorite megaten game I have ever played even more worth playing than persona.

It's a shame that Atlus isn't gonna be able to include Dante in the SMT: Nocturne remaster / remake on the Switch, but it was probably licensing issues. Dante's inclusion was actually the driving point in my interest in this game, since I grew up with DMC...and I stayed for the rest, even if I got my rear kicked a lot.
Edit: I stand corrected....Dante might actually get in, but most likely as DLC. Hey, at least we have both Raidou and Dante in the game now.

@@deadaccount2968 Demi Fiend only appears in DDS 1, in which there are no rings. Though the Demi-Fiend would yeet the Embryon away with his Gaea Rage simply because the Embryon is just spin-off protagonists.
