Maybe it isn’t fair but it isn’t random either. Clark and Reese have huge sc media followings and huge turnouts wherever they play. They’ve earned the investment of big endorsement deals now they have to perform at the next level to keep them.

AR was already endorsed by Shaq and AI to become the face of Reebok after LSU won the natty so it didn't just start this year it began last year, also AR has her own jewelry line plus modeling to fall back on and want to her own a WNBA team. Nobody is harping about Clark shoe deal everybody should be glad for her. That's the dam press trying to keep up some shit claiming people mad we all know why she getting extra care her people own everything and they dam show look out for their own. Angel shoe deal was in place in the fall of 2023 but it couldn't be maxed on until she went pro. This should benefit all of them play their cards right.
I like all of the girls and the competitiveness they have shown over the last couple years unfortunately the reality is their exchanges only exposed more of how this country is divided. You would be considered a liberal to many because you may have a sensible point of view what you said would be considered hate although it is not. These companies are targeting the young adults that spend money on athletic shoes, makes sense to me.

Shoe deals come to those that can sell shoes... When Bird and Johnson came into the league (with Jordan later), it changed the game and the NBA gained popularity. With the 2024 draft of Clark, Brink, Cardoso, Jackson, Edward, and Reese, they will change the game too. That will come with deals and more money. The older W players, just like Jabbar & Dr. J., were important to building their league. But, as JFK said, the torch has been passed to a new generation. The 2024 class has the ability to make the league profitable if they play their cards right.

It's certainly unfortunate and unfair that former players don't or did not get as much recognition or opportunity for brand deals. However, everything is about timing. Neither Catlin nor Angel can be blamed for the timing of the market. They helped catapult the WNBA back into the spotlight with a much greater interest in women's basketball. Let's hope it translates into greater financial benefits for the league and other great players following them will benefit similarly.
Yes I believe it will be a norm for top players going into the WNBA or NBA to already have lucrative contracts with Nike, Reebok, etc. NIL money has put a lot of players on as far as money and contracts.
I’m sure it stirs jealousy amongst their teammates but it’s not their fault just their talent and marketability. Angel and Caitlin blew women’s basketball 🏀 up this past season so I’m not surprised of the deals they’re getting.
