  • Today I get to talk to my new friend, Emily Morrow about all things clean eating and toxins and, well…all things crunchy. I’m SO fascinated by all we can learn about the food we eat, the products we use, and why talking about our physical health matters. Y’all know I want to live to be a 100 AND I want to keep learning forever, so I’m fascinated by people like Emily who can teach us things we might not know. Her new book, Really Very Crunchy is a GREAT resource, and I just loved getting to meet Emily. Isn’t this such a fun summer conversation?!

Love her! I will also say, I used to run a city crunchy group and have since backed off. This is a very sticky spot for misinformation. It is sometimes VERY challenging to know what is true or false when researching these things. I started following more scientifically minded individuals because I started to work on my critical thinking when hearing things like "that is treated with forever chemicals that can cause reproductive issues." Is that right? I am not sure! Still, love this woman and think she is awesome. I just think we also need to be careful about information we are sharing, me included. I appreciate (most) of what realsciencebabe has to say in terms of helping me understand what "toxins" are. Just throwing it out there for consideration.
