Couldn't agree more about the spearpoint on the Mac2 not being a spearpoint at all. It's cool, but not a spear point. Maybe a subtle clip point, if anything. Kind of like the clip point on the Deka. That off-center disc would drive me absolutely bonkers 😆 I'm so anal about my knives. It's a problem. Does it have any detent play since you can shake it open that easily? Not a big deal for me, either, but I do think something like that should be tightened up a bit. Could eventually present a safety issue in the right situation. Overall, it's a sweet knife. Not my style, but, I definitely can appreciate it for what it is. VECP's are so hard to get these days that maybe I'll try out one of these just because and see how it is. Cheers man.

The vecp is a solid choice. There's no lash with the detent so that's good.
