Does having the block off plate on actually make the mower mulch or does it just leave a trail behind you? When I bought my kubota I asked the dealer about a block off plate and they said they don’t do that because it doesn’t really work on their mowers. 🤔 Then they tried to sell me a baffle mulch kit which I didn’t want because usually if I’m just mowing clean grass I just want to discharge it as is. Those baffles are a little more permanent. I really wanted the block off plate for leaves and other debris. My last snapper mower had a plate and it made all that stuff vanish.
I can't see very well how you do the notch... I have my cover all ready made but I really need a way to lift and close it cause I'm wearing my arm out holding the thing open.

the only problem I have had is with the 48 and the right side trans went on it. it was under warrenty and the dealer replace both of them. I didn't have to pay a dime and they didn't even ask any questions how it happened . but other than that I have had no issues at all. I love both of them.
yeah kubota dealers are great guys to help there customers out my buddy owns a kubota dealer hes great too there if any issues wich and he's there if any issues with any small,medium large machines wich is nice :)
it is a Kubota z725 and yes if I had more big property's and someone working for me I would absolutely buy another one. its been a great mower so far and its good on steep hills where my 48 inch mower is not.
tristan gibson: cuts on the kubotas are 100% great cuts from them we have a zd 326 and it makes the lawns like a golf course and climbs the steep hills and engine wouldnt stall going up wich there the #1 top best reliable mowers on the market and cheaper too with diesel,gas and propane engines optionals
iam sure it can be done, I would get some 90 degree brackets and use those everywhere I welded just make sure you use some lock tight so the vibration of the mower doesn't loosen the bolts.
That's just insane. I have a Kubota 54 inch. I have a welder. I'm off to the garage.

Z421 60in does Amazing cut job. Best of ever used.
