If this could reach tom ellis... I am greatfull for him in Lucifer. During the pandemic there was not much series or movies I was happy with . But Lucifer was like my comfort food . So I had days and months where I would have Lucifer on repeat. I think almost more than ten times i must have watched the whole series..
I watched lucifer twice from the first episode to the last and both times I was pleasantly surprised by how well Tom Ellis fits the character. He is an extraordinary actor who does this with soul. We thank you Tom Ellis for giving life to this character and giving the best of yourself😇🙏🏻

I loved Tom as the wonderfully sweet Gary in Miranda and I loved Tom as the enigmatic Lucifer. (They are both still go-to shows when I need a lift or a smile) I stayed up all night watching Tom in Monday Monday when I first found it - a silly little series - but Tom is so wonderfully himself. He has always been gloriously emotive and incredibly charismatic in everything I’ve seen him do - but I was so sadly disappointed in Players. I guess I can understand it as a pallet cleanser but really, Tom - move on quickly to something more worthy of your talents. We, your fan base are waiting with bated breath.
Does anyone wonder how those 12 girls felt when Tom joined the theatre group? Tom is very balanced and always gives full answers which l appreciate. So far, my favorite character he has played is Gary from Miranda. Gary was just adorable. Did not like Players as a romcom. Just the premise of it, of the 'players' characters. To me they were extremely shallow, extremely immature. Deceiving people to get laid? Really? I see why Tom wanted to play Nick though, very different to Lucifer and all his other characters. Am l the only one who did not see Nick as a douche though? He was what he was, l saw him as a grown up with grown up priorities. And what he was, was not what she wanted, she thought he was hot, and she wanted to get laid by him, then she wanted a draw in his life so to speak so she pretended to be what he liked like what he liked and inserted herself into his life and when he was honest with her bluntly honest, she dumped him. I mean really? Thanks for the video dude glad it came up in my feed.
I agree with Guy. Although even Tom thought Nic was a douche me not so much. To me it was evident that he cared for Mack in his own way. I guess I compared Nic and Lucifer. At least Lucifer made no bones about being a narcissist. The difference was Chloe vs Mack. When you really care about someone you accept them warts and all. I think Mack was really in love with Adam all along.
The cast around him didn't fit like a glove like the Lucifer crew. I didn't like it at all, but after watching it (forced myself) it's really like a great actor had to play with a bunch of C actors, kids. Maybe if his look was less like he's in real life, more slick, without looking like lucifer it had fitted those ' kids' better. Ofcourse it didn't have the love story like with Chloe, that's the script. A cold shower for a romcom. As I wrote in my comment, I don't like romcoms at all, but somehow he couldn't shine even as a douche, wrong cast for him. The moment he appeared he had the x factor, but the others definitely didn't.
I really don't understand how they both make such a big thing out of players and romcoms. I hated players. Tom showed in lucifer he's perfect for action, he can- if he trains- have a massive body, something with action, intruige, a twitch of his awesome humor and seductive scenes would put him on the map till he's a sean Connery kinda name. After lucifer it went down hill with succesful film or series, if he keeps chosing romcoms like players he'll definitely lose fans
