I worked with US Molding presses for 30 years in pewaukee Wisconsin. why does the injection ram go up to the top after filling the barrel? At the end of my time there they were all computerized and safety gates and light curtains were on all presses. They shipped them, all 70 to Mexico in 2017.😢
Why do you pull your transfer rod that high.do half ,keep cool,feed rubber.Used to be Injection molding genius ...viking,aero electric,hirel connectors etc

This mold uses most of the injection volume that this press can inject in one cycle to it fills nearly to the top.
