Literally not too long after uploading this video, I found out that Roblox basically screwed over the devs by having Pressure be apart of The Haunt, thus them making the raveyard for it. I mistakenly thought the "deadline" was put on the devs by themselves and not Roblox. This was never meant to be a casual experience made for fun and I apologize for saying it was. As I hinted to in the video, I do not blame the devs for how this update turned out. BUT now that the update is out, most of my criticisms still stand and I'm sure will be addressed/fixed going forward. This video was made with the POV of a player who was playing the update on launch, not knowing much of what was going on behind the scenes. I still think The Raveyard is an amazing experience considering it was made in only 40 days, and it's a shame what the devs got put through to make it happen.
This isn' t criticism, it's just so complainy--the raveyard was NEVER MEANT TO BE a full expedition, from the start we were told it is NOT even similar to a floor 2 update, and the devs had to make this in a month. You also completely failed to mention or acknowledge that they weren't told about what the haunt event was gonna be, and the raveyard was SUPPOSED to be for the haunt, because they assumed roblox wasn't gonna screw them over and make it a screenshot contest instead of a dev hunt, like EVERY OTHER EVENT BEFORE. They spent 40 days trying to crank out a fun little expedition to hold off fans while they worked on more content, how can you compare that to the original expedition, which took over a year to create?? Also, they were extremely proactive with bugs and fixes in the new expedition, they literally fixed most of the bugs in a single DAY. Also "1st in the world to talk critically about this update on youtube lol" is really saying something, you're just complaining TO COMPLAIN. The update is FINE, the masses are APPEASED, and you just felt like seeking attention from the MAYBE 3 incels who agree with you.
I guess they are but i hope after the haunt ends zeal completely polishes this new experience Like make the entities encounters more engaging more random rooms 50 rooms total with an new grand encounter and proper ending scene and honestly will be an much better experience hopefully.
valid af, i know it does come off that way and the wording of "critique" is stretching it because at the end of the day these are all just my opinions, but to be fair the devs themselves admit that it wasnt ready and they shouldnt overhype things. i approached and based the critiques on the day-one launch as well so most of my complaints are null and void. still, i appreciate your comment, just dont agree with the incel part, dont be rude.
Fun fact: the bartender is actually a dev named rach, the reason he was added to the game was because zeal used to work with him on a game called Survive the night
the biggest problem I had with this mode was how at the beginning they don't explain absolutely nothing about the environment, it is easy to understand that you must avoid being hit, but in a dark environment, with identical doors and a thousand obstacles that get in the way, the first death I had was by mr lopee, because I didn't know that I had been left behind, you can say that it was skill issue, but in reality it is a great design flaw in my opinion.
i like the raveyard, and respect everyone's opinion on it as long as they also respect other's opinions, not the people that just complain AND insult people for their opinion, it's not like i'll say "OmG i LiKe ThE rAvEyArD aNd i HiGhLy SuPpOrT iT tHaT i WoUlD iNsUlT oThErS fOr NoT lIkInG iT 🤓" or the same thing with hating it, also this is mainly roblox's fault (mentioned in most comments), this whole 1 month project was made... for absolutely NOTHING. the devs worked 40 days on this just for for the haunt to be a "CoStUmE cOnTeST", i appreciate roblox trying to do something new but they REALLY need to communicate with the devs to inform them about events before like a month before it even starts, NOT last minute.
This wouldn't exist if the devs were told about the Roblox event. I feel bad they made this for nothing, but I do hope add it to the lore it would be cool
Yeah they did. Literally like an hour ago. If you go on a platform and wait for skelepede to mind its own buissness, the second you hop into water it will come back, IN THE SAME ROOM. Before it used to just despawn until you opened another room. After the first bouncer chase scene thingy, near the concert, the sky is also lighter for whatever reason? Anyways, that's about it, since because of a dumb glitch, IT WON'T PAST YOU PASS THE BRIDGE- YOU FALL INTO WATER, AND YOUR CHARACTER MODEL JUST GETS STUCK THERE! Terrible update, I replayed 3 times just to recheck if it would unbug, but NO. I was pressing every button I could, and when you drop your gummy flashlight there, it reappears on top of the water, way above you. Just thought that last bit was kinda odd. Anyways, waiting when the devs make their game playable again>>
I enjoyed it, but because I could handle the game without lag. Roblox just fucked it for some people. I wish we had a big boss battle with DJ MUSIC SKULL (yall better get the ref)
the devs made raveyard thinking it was gonna be like the previous events so the difficulty was prob easy for casual pressure players cuz it was meant for everyone (perfect example was pre nerf the hunt map in piggy)

The bad part about it it's the lag in the outdoor areas. The rest of the content is weirdly fun.

I was kinda dissapointed how i first tried this without taking damage. It was too easy compared to the main game
