Its so touching, listening to them speaking in English, which means I could finally understand what they say right away, without having to rely on the subtitles... much appreciated as a non-Japanese speaker
Those 2 are so adorable and hilarious together... like brothers should be. I love it that they are back together, it makes my heart smile. Toshi's engrish has gotten much better but I don't think it's important for him to be fluent.... as long as they're happy.... I'm happy.
well actually it was on purpose.when we were waiting later for the band to ome out,one of the roadies gave my friend a paper what was supposed the list of songs, they played.Say Anything was on that list.so it means,it was not "accidently" it was on purpose..but i enjoyed that concert and will never forget
Don't destroy my dreams x'D But well this talk seemed a bit studied from the beginning so it is no big surprise actually. I think they put a lot of work into preparing the concert in detail this time. Anyways, I still enjoyed it a lot and I am so happy I could be there (and so close to them like never before ^_^)
Actually that's not entirely true. I've been watching the live broadcast of the concert, and if you pause at the right moments you can see the setlist taped to the floor under Yoshiki's drumset with all the songs in order. Say Anything is indeed written on the piece of paper, but It's written at the very end in brackets after a line break along with Tears and Forever Love to show that it's one of the fade-out songs to be played as the band took photos and left the stage. It's definitely not on the list of songs to be played live at the gig. There IS a place in the set for that talk, it's marked as, "MC (CD)". They planned that space, obviously, to talk about the album - but the fact Say Anything really isn't on the setlist proper + their genuinely funny reactions to it make me certain that the rest was spontaenous. Your dreams are still true. :P
That's true, they didn't actually play Say Anything at the end. I guess probably they didn't know for sure how long they'd need at the end of the gig, so they marked down 3 songs to be played and only needed 2 of them. It's definitely not on the actual set-list for the gig anyway. I don't know for sure of course, but I get the feeling X-Japan sort of half-plan their talky bits. I think they probably have a good idea of what they want to say, but keep it loose and kinda go with it on the night. If they planned it 100% I think it'd be tighter. There were lots of parts where Toshi looked like he didn't quite get Yoshiki's English or was trying to think of a reply. Like that funny part at the beginning where Yoshiki had to get someone to go find Pata and Pata was obviously caught unawares being passed the microphone. That part was funny too :P. The Say Anything part was my favourite. XD I was at the gig too btw and I was also really glad they played it because I love that song. ^^ Aaahh X-Japan

Yoshiki and Toshi seems like French musician "Richard Clayderman" and "Michel Polnareff" of 70〜80's. but ths is only my opinion.
なついですねwミッシェル・ポルナレフは低音時の声質もちょっと似てないですか?
JUKE BOXX 返信ありがとございます。Yoshikiのピアノも リチャードクレイダーマンに思えてしまう俺です。
