FEC Train 105 struck car aftermath 4/9/2024

We heard on the scanner that Train 105 went into emergency after a car was struck at 48th street crossing in Deerfield Beach FL at 8:30 PM (Estimated) 4/9/2024. We jumped up and found the accident location. We drove past the train and went around to find a better vantage point. We found the struck vehicle and found a decent place to watch the locomotives. After the proper authorities had safely rescued the injured person from the vehicle, the police and fire crew deemed the train clear to move. While the local authorities were doing everything then needed to do, on site was the Railroad police inspecting the lead locomotive for any damages. While the accident was being cleared Dispatch was doing their job to keep traffic moving. Another train (208?) was on its way north and passed at restricted speed, shortly after a brightline train crawled by headed south.
