Want to have a parade? Sure. Water fight? Ok. The 30 minutes of pegged sirens I can’t get behind, no good for anyone’s hearing and not considerate to the residents who live around that area.

This is what as known as, "Harmless Mayhem". Up here in Central New York, some of the Volunteer Fire Departments are Career/ Volunteer. I was a Volley for 10 years, and during that period of time, we played "Pushball", "Sink a Boat", etc. Of course, water was involved with this also. Now, I'm almost 60 years old, and have a whole lot of fond memories of this "Harmless Mayhem". Some of you need to get out of the house more often, instead of crabbing about what the Volleys do, and, no, I don't see the Career Firefighters giving the Volleys a bad name either.
Nice to see a whole fire dept out there all together having a great time I wish there was EMS buts it’s ok and people are gonnna be like oh they need to be waiting for calls and shit like that no they have a little fun too here in LA we have fun too I’m a paramedic for LAFD I’ve been working for 7 years now and we have fun sometimes so nice video tho

To folks bitching.. Get over it. Quite a lot of officers on those trucks, and I think I spotted a few Chiefs. If you're telling me you know fire service better than them, please see yourself out.
As for 'water wasting'... Dude, this is Pennsylvania, not California. Not under any form of a drought in the last 5 years. XD
Let them have fun, if it's an issue, the officers and chiefs will handle.

Also people definitely looking for a “thank you for your service”. I’m all for supporting other fire departments, I volunteer but fuck, this is too much, there’s absolutely no need to step on a q siren and air horns on your way out from a fucking parade. My department has a no sound policy in place for parades. Not too many people in NEPA in parades see the little kids holding their hands over their ears because it loud. This is an absolute shame. This shouldn’t be allowed.

Ramsey love Boyertown has been up and running for a little over 3 years now. We were formed through a consolidation of Friendship hook and ladder (15), keystone (16), and liberty (17). We serve 3 townships and the surrounding mutual aid company's with an average of 550 calls per year

I'm going fucking deaf with the peaking sirens. I'm not saying don't have fun but don't break the shit and don't have a pissing contest to see who's siren is more earrapingly annoying. Yea blip them a few times but shit. Everyone within a 3 block radius is gonna have fucking tinnitus after this xD. And don't leave your siren on when your stopped. Just don't. We are already deaf enough thank you. I love that they are having fun but don't overdo it.
Q sirens are like 130db-160 a piece. The normal sirens, 130-150. The air horns. Let's cut it at 140. Thirty of them going at once, peaking the shit out of them even, is going to deafen a lot of people and it may be fun but I have my volume at 50% and my ears are fucking ringing from these sirens

I could be wrong but highly unlikely but the people below who were butt hurt over all of this must lives in States where " fun " is frowned upon even at the Volunteer level or they aren't even Firefighters and just want to express the shit coming out of there mouth so people can read it, not that we give a shit anyway, as Volunteers they don't see a dime to save lives, no hourly paycheck or salary, having the same training as paid but some have more Pride because yes they are Volunteers and they love doing it for Free, I use to be a Hookie(15) now (95) before I moved to Florida and I loved every second of being a Volunteer, didn't care about getting paid to do what I loved, waking up at 1,2,3 in the morning for a call because somebody needed help didn't bother me one bit, to those trully butt hurt below get off your high horses and live a little, go to a parade like this and watch and learn, these guys/girls do what paid guys do everyday without physically seeing a dime, so when they have fun like this you can see it in there faces, kids faces having a blast, parents having a blast, this is what community is, they support one another and show it by all means, I find it funny that one guy commented how Career guys hate us, idk where you live but even in Pennsylvania Career Departments support us, if all trucks are busy who's going to come help at a major emergency, that's right the Volunteers, only Major cities in PA are Career, they other 95% is Volunteer, to the other person who boasted how they would never let there Department have fun obviously has a broom handle up there ass, watch you tube videos of Firefighters having fun, even the paid guys have videos of them having fun.

Its tradition, when a fire company buys a new truck they typically invite surrounding companies to show up and spray down the new truck with water as kind of a welcome to the new apparatus

And this is what gives us volunteers a bad name, this is legitimately why career guys hate us. Water fights and playing with sirens as you’re leaving a parade. No need to just press on the q and air horns and leave them peaked, to those that do, I hope your damn apparatus break down.
Texas Transports LLC unfortunately since they volunteer they cannot be fired, and for any type of Township or borough to step in is highly unlikely because they’re all probably chummy with the line officers who are most likely just as guilty of this shit. But this is good ole Pennsyltucky for ya!

Everyone says volunteers and career guys do the same job, well I can tell you one thing, I’ve never in my life seen career guys do any of this water fight bs and leave parades with q sirens and air horns peaked. This isn’t professional, this makes us look like a bunch of jackasses
