He is suffering from a rare blood disorder called amyloidosis which can often be fatal and which "nearly killed him". It also affects the voice which in his case, as he states, he almost lost his voice completely. He was wonderful with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He is 71.
Wow! What a good way to tell about the history of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Welsh origin. From this story told wonderfully by Michael York, I know that welsh John Parry was the first conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir! Wow! It's good to hear that! Congrats MoTab ... and Sing Choir of Angels!
what a fantastic show with the choir.....it enhances sound preference of mutual understanding that culminates strong position of a love of GOD.... WITH PHYSICALLY MOTIVATED IDEAS OF FABULOUS TALENT AND SKILLS OF A LATTER DAYS......SHARING TALENT IN THIS CONDITION MOTIVATE LOVE AND FASHION OF A REAL CHILDREN OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER..♥ ♥ ♥
What a wonderful story and well spoken. I always thought the Salt Lake City Tabernacle was built before the formation of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, but I was wrong.
I WOULD APPRECIATE ALL OF THEM FOR A WORK WELL DONE......GOD WOULD BE BLESSING YOU ALL THAT WELL SEE IT THROUGH YOUR OWN FAMILIES AND A JOY BEYOND MEASURE........♥
All my prayers of blessing on my food that it may give me strength in abundance, I cried the whole way through this, what a sook, it is THAT BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I should do a double blessing of thanks after the food to not cry so much at emense and grand wonderment beauty in Singers, Orchestra, Organizers and Dancers, of course, like Nuriev and Fontaine but modestly atired for the cold Salt Lake City Winter, I am wondering would they do an Aussie Xmas pageant for mission? Too irreverant?
wow what an amazing performance, the singing, music, dancing, and everything!
Can we imagine how haven will be?
This Christmas celebration is the most spectacular piece of art.
Praise to GOD for the gift of the music.

I wish they would get play his introduction to the finale, and play the entire finale.
I do wish the singing was a little bit more clear because in some reference I want to join with them
