Steve Young wasn’t a running QB, he was a QB who could run. The most he ever rushed for in a season was 537 yards which was the first year he was the full time starter for the 49ers. He averaged 425 yards per year his career. That is around Mahomes who averages 340 a year. Not running QBs and I will prove it to you… Lamar Jackson is a running QB, he averages 700+ rushing yards a year. Cam Newton was a running QB averaging almost 700 yards a season in his career, Michael Vick was a running QB he averaged 725 yards per year over his career.

Being a lions fan, I support a lot of what your saying but come on...down the stretch you have to look at the ability to run the ball. The lions easiest loses last year came from running QB s Lamar and Seattle QB. I don't want to count that out because it's a big problem for us. Josh can do it although I hope he doesn't. Tampa got a win this year against us and why? Because that guy will run his but off.
4 of the 5 losses Green Bay has is to Detroit and Minnesota. It could have easily been GB sitting at 15-1 with 1st seed locked in like Kansas City. Sam Darnald is just as scary to face in the playoffs and has made the biggest impact compared to expectations. He is also a player that is NOT the piece that the team was built around. This is mind-blowing that the word VALUE doesn't scream at you for the obvious DOUBLE VALUE, BOGO, TWO FER, ETC... Sam, Jared, and Peneii are the only 3 serious options.

Steve Young wasn’t a running QB, he was a QB who could run. The most he ever rushed for in a season was 537 yards which was the first year he was the full time starter for the 49ers. He averaged 425 yards per year his career. That is around Mahomes who averages 340 a year. Not running QBs and I will prove it to you…
Lamar Jackson is a running QB, he averages 700+ rushing yards a year. Cam Newton was a running QB averaging almost 700 yards a season in his career, Michael Vick was a running QB he averaged 725 yards per year over his career.
Furthermore how did Young win his Super Bowl ring? I seem to recall he passed not ran 6 passing TDs. So again don’t try and play the story different than what it was or really is
