How on earth can your little brain have such a vast ocean of knowledge and in-depth awareness about the highs-lows of so many different professionals…. I’ve seen similar amazing videos from you about doctors, corporate employees, management, parents and kids… you are simply amazing Shraddha!
Is the teacher eligibility test in India a scam like it is in the US? I know someone who’s a teacher and this is what happens: 1. Go to University 2. Pass coursework and start teacher exams. 3. Almost nothing covered in the coursework is on the exam. 4. There’s no study guide or listed curriculum to study 5. The questions have significantly changed between each exam. There’s no good exam prep material to study because the knowledge pool for questions is entirely too broad. The teachers where I live are qualified but the pass rate is below 50% because the testing companies (private; not government run) make a fortune on administering the tests, especially when more than half are paying for multiple exams and it’s hundreds of dollars (USD) each attempt. It’s not uncommon for it to take 3 or 4 tries before a teacher can pass the certification exam. Actually, Engineers are more likely to pass their certification exams than teachers. The Fundamentals of Engineering exam covers mostly what you learned in school, there’s an extensive formula sheet, and you can prepare ahead of time with a plethora of study materials available.
Truly said Shraddha. My fiend is govt teacher in Rajasthan in the Village area. She is only teacher holding class 1 to 7 all alone. She has 21 kids. She makes them sit in one class in different directions and teach all one by one each line. Superb Shraddha! That’s what u r ! The way YOU highlight issues with satire is commendable! God bless u ! Thank you for using this talent to bring smiles while making us reflect !
Thanks for highlighting this issue that only few RUclipsrs talk about. Private teacher's situation in non-metros is worse. Overworked, no proper payment, no raise to cope up with the inflation etc... parents expect teachers to do everything while themselves taking little to no responsibility. More such videos are needed to highlight the issue which can rot our socieyin a big way.
