Всё началось с программы Back to the Universe Мартина Ландерса.
The first video on RUclips that truly blew my mind! And the song got me into electronic music. That was around 2007 or 2008, IIRC. It says it was uploaded 10 years ago so it doesn't make sense. My memory is shot😅 Still gives me chills and a sense of being so small yet a familiar feeling of being part of it all.
Maybe it was edited or something (and re-uploaded) because I also first saw this video in 2007/08 during my last year of undergrad. Your memory is not wrong.
Kraftwerk concert Sopot, Poland 2016, on train Journey from Gdansk to Krakow, I met an irish blonde Samantha and we talked, I said my music project is Global Entity and played Ge East West syndrome from the Ge Pioneers compilation, she just plugged her own earphones in. Then mentioned electronic ambient music and so Gas - Microscopic was played, a tune hard to dislike. On the otherside, my left was polish Magdelina who was reading A nazi spyhunter book and I show her script from Brian Cox - Human Universe book relating to Nicolaus Copernicus who changed European perception of Earth not the centre of the Universe, the theory learned from an Islamic model. Anyway Magdelina was very friendly and showed me the interchange platform at Warsaw.

Nope. No narration looses something very old video but fiddling with it has not improved it. I know......the MUSIC, Kids have to have goddamn music! It's terrible.
this song is almost as old as the video.. "kids" alright. someone just wanted to make it a neat music video. get over yourself in this vain attempt at sincerity
Lol, this track fits this video so well... Better, it perfectly describes what video is about, but packed it in a neat music form. With even greater sense of cosmic space and distant universes. Have you ever proper listened to it? In a bad/chair, eyes closed, relaxing. With the feeling of ego dissolving and going for great adventure?
Coming back to this for many years, it holds as a true masterpiece and gives me shivers every single time. Thank you...
I love at 3:25 when you think you've travelled really far, and then they show the constellations and the stars haven't moved a bit lol.
One of the best songs I've heard + best version
Amazing video, who would believe its 40 yrs old. Great tune
40 yrs old? Really?

Now try watching this, repeating to yourself this mantra: we are the center of creation and the only life in the universe.
Utterly absurd proposition. Creation has no center, and us being the only life in the universe is a statistical impossibility.
