I love the 15 year limit. I think maintenance is a bit above inflation. You certainly will get more than nothing after 15 years (after all it is worth 30 percent more after a year). If you plan on going once a year for a least a week and you plan on spending at least $200/night it’s probably worth it. Especially if you pay cash. If you don’t mind value resorts or only care about going to the parks, it probably doesn’t make sense.
Hey lucie - how did you find going in May? (My birthday month too ... wondering about crowds!). We have got a resale contract at the POLY! I decided on that because we are only planning to go every three years and I knew I may sometimes also need to rent my points out. I know the Poly is a an easy sell rent wise & also, I wanted the best length of contract I could, in case we decide to sell down the line! Figuring that the Poly would retain a lot of value. We plan to use it for the first time next year.... We have 130 points and are planning to bank and borrow.... So, I'm just hoping the borrowing restrictions are eased VERY soon! Sounds like you got an amazing deal on Saratoga because it's much higher now per point! We got Poly for $165 PP. Xx
That’s so exciting! And a good price for Poly at the moment. We didn’t make it last May as the borders were still shut 😣 But we’re going this May (staying Poly in fact) so I’ll report on crowds 👍🏻 It sounds like you’ve got it figured as far as bank/ borrowing, so I hope you have a fantastic Welcome Home 😍
@@37DisneyStreet Oh yes of course! It's been so long hasn't it. I look forward to hearing all about your trip!! By the way - how long did it take you after the sale closed to hear from Disney? It just closed for us a couple of days ago and it said it would take 3-4 weeks to transfer. But I'm just curious how long it took for others! I can't wait to actually see those points in my account!!
