I’m a home sewist who makes a big part of my wardrobe myself-it’s amazing! It feels like you have super powers. The number of times I’ve spotted something on an influencer and make it for myself for a third of the cost AND it fits perfectly. Remember you’re supposed to mess up a bunch at the beginning-that’s how you learn! Also remember that “done is better than perfect” which as a perfectionist is hard for me but really helped at the start. Save the pattern, remake or a couple years on and be amazed at how your skills grew.
Love this type of videos! Please keep doing them. I also found a good alternative for the gorgeous knit you’re wearing, especially for the warmer months: the Sézane Ruben cardigan in green. It’s cotton but it might recreate the look 💚😊
Love the green colour and the new neckline on you - looks great! I used that JL sewing machine for over three years; I even made my first pair of jeans on it. It has its limitations (manual four step buttonholes are not my favourite - guess who never made any garments with more than six buttonholes while using it...?), and eventually i felt like it was holding me back, but there is so much you can do with it while you're learning all the MANY skills that dressmaking involves. Keep going, it's totally worth it!
Anna, I think the jumper looks amazing on you. Also, since you have a beautiful rounded face, I think V-necks suit you better than crew necks, because they give the illusion of lengthening your face a bit. I am the opposite, I have a longer face, and crew necks suit me better than v-necks. Love your content!

I bought the AKT discovery set to try them, loved the scents and it worked pretty well on me, but I didn’t like having to smear it on with my finger. I do love the brand’s story though and connection with the theatre 🎭
I like that you're not chained to your perfect autumnal colors and can still wear a spring green polo shirt. I think color analysis just gets to restricting sometimes.
Ultimate car activity is an audiobook. Lots and lots of them I have to play them in the main car sterio system as otherwise my kids get sick. Also any other activities make them feel sick.
For traveling with a child: have snacks and some preferred toys. My kids were very good at entertaining themselves. We did put together music play lists and a few story podcasts. If he gets iPad time we really like the Sago Mini and Toca Boca apps. They are fun but calm exploration apps. Hopefully your son will surprise you and be a great sleeper.
In need of a black tie optional wedding guest dress. Late June, 2 pm catholic ceremony and then a tent reception at a historic house. Tricky in my opinion!
I have yet to find a natural deodorant that works for more than a few hours, but I live in Florida so sweating is a way of life here. I’d say, of all that I’ve tried, the drunk elephant deodorant probably helped control the smell the longest.
Ok one more thing I HAVE TO SHARE: highly recommend checking out the Elizabeth Suzanne patterns on her website!!! I purchased a pair of her silk Florence pants in size medium and love them (a real investment) but would love to get a sewing machine and learn how to sew one of her dresses in linen.
