This is very real, after my wife passed I had to keep busy, so I did all the little things around the house that we had been putting off. She never nagged about anything but I know there were several things that she would have wanted done sooner rather than later, I did them all and more. We started dating at fifteen, and she was seventy when she died a year ago last March. My wish would be to be able to tell her that those items have been taken care of. Thank you for this video and this song.
I was so moved reading this. I kept my mom's experience after losing my dad in mind when working on the video, but I really hoped we would get it right for those who are living with the loss of a long-term partner. Thank you so much for sharing your story and your feedback.
This means everything. Thank you so much for sharing this. We know you feel her presence every time you cross something off that list. That's the kind of love most people never find in this world, and it's a love that has no end. Thank you so much again for sharing your story. It inspires us to continue making music.
@@admiralradiomusic The devastating truth of the matter is that most successful marriages end with one partner having to say goodbye to the other as they pass. The most we can hope for (and I had that) is to have a partner who looks at you, like your wife looks at you in your videos.
Attended their performance in Lenexa KS last night, as they opened for the Black Feathers. Delighted. About half a dozen perfectly crafted and memorable songs, this one the highlight for me. Never witnessed an opening act get a standing ovation b4, but they did last night from about 200 folks in attendance, and it was well deserved. I look forward to seeing them again in a more extended set. Thanks to Mike for booking this really great duo of excellent performers and song writers. Thanks to Admiral Radio. You warmed many hearts. Best wishes for ur new record in September.
I'm not crying.....oh, who am I kidding...bawling my eyes out over here. Beautiful job, y'all...visually and musically.
Thank you always, Kevin. You da bomb. This one's a tear jerker.
