Ledisi has such a wonderful tone to her voice. I could listen to her again and again. Unlike some divas who continually over sing to get attention, like Lalah she controls her instrument perfectly. She is marching her way to greatness.

She sounds 1000X better live than her record because she feeds off the energy of the audience. She is a sweet and grounded person with tons of humor and humility. I try to see her live as often as I can, even traveling to do so. I feel another road trip to see her again after tomorrow night. She gives a show and it is a true experience and aw-inspiring to witness!! Her records are great, but can't touch her live performances. The energy she emanates is absolutely infectious.
