Joe Hart was not useless. 75 caps for England - same number as David Seaman. He was an outstanding shot stopper early in his career. His biggest problem is that goalkeeping has evolved beyond recognition in the last 10 years and he didn't have the skill-set to evolve with it.
@Adam Marshall he still holds multiple golden gloves in the premier league so you can’t really say that, considering the main arguments are based off club form

I couldn't imagine nice guy Nuno being that personal deep with Joe Hart footballing ability. Simon Jordan have we seen this before from Joe Hart from his ex manager's Pep Guardiola or Sean Dyche. Plus why would Joe Hart bring this up unless he's still bitter after hearing the truth.
Joe Hart is still very good. Watch his performances this season, especially in the Europa League. He doesn't care what they say anymore, he's loving it at Celtic where all he gets is positivity. Great signing.
As a West ham fan I want to love Tricky trev for how good he was at us but he is one of the worst pundits out there. He always sounds like he has nonideacwhat he is talking about. Simon wins 9 out of 10 arguments.
I'm a City fan. We had a great relationship with him, especially those of us who were behind his goal every week. In my view, Joe Hart got way too big headed. For one FA Cup match, he was recorded saying "we don't need to win this competition." It was around that time that the decline set in. Numerous managers have identified an attitude problem with him. Unfortunately , because of it, he's not hit the heights he should have. Attitude is the difference between high talented and world class.
Don’t understand Trevor’s argument here? Why should a manager give a player a “lifeline” if he’s doesn’t want him? Joe Hart asking for an opinion and then crying when it wasn’t what he wanted sort of sums up how most people view him. He’s found his level in the game; keeping clean sheets against Ross County.
He didn’t want a lifeline he was happy being number two and pushing Hugo he says that in the full podcast. Abs nuno pulled him in not joe for the convo
as a West ham fan, I agree with Simon and Trevor he cos us a lot of points but you still deserve to be talked to you a level of respect as an experienced pro from his long career and deserved at least to try to redeem some of his flaws.
You have no idea of the conversation, you have Hart's version. True be told, he is very arrogant and probably didn't expect to be told that and reacted badly
I cant quite understand the issue here. If Nuno had lied to Joe and told him "We are bringing in another keeper. You'll start as 3rd choice but if you improve you can push yourself into the frame"...Joe would've sat at home watching games on TV all season and not played a minute. Gollini has barely had a look in and hes 2nd choice! Honesty has allowed Joe to get his transfer, head up to Celtic, play good football and restart his career again. Joe shouldn't be ripping into Nuno he should be thanking him.
Spurs hiring Nuno, one of the most pragmatic coaches in football, and dismissing Ten Haag over "the lack of charisma" is truly one of the most Tottenham thing out there

Sinclair is so thick. “Give him a lifeline”. So string Hart along for 3 years with the promise that he might one day play (rather than be honest and let him explore other options which will work out better for him). Engage your brain Sinclair!
@RFC56 titles success starts at home and he currently has 5 more clean sheets that mcgregor and conceded 7 less than him too. your right Europe isn’t for everybody but clearly neither is the Scottish premier league for mcgregor. I mean ffs even Craig Gordon has more clean sheets than mcgregor

You’ve no chance as it stands to play, I would recommend you seek a move if you have any desire for gametime however if you choose to stay I expect total professionalism in training and these are the areas I expect you to work on and improve should you wish to play any part whatsoever
Hart seems to be doing ok for Celtic which surprised me bit as they are doing most the attacking and concentration level for keeper there need to be high. He's liked and supportive in dressing room but wonder if his last few years have humbled him and made him like this now as he's been shipped out a few clubs when in theory he'd be great back up. If he's not a problem in dressing room it must be a money thing where hes on decent whack for sub keeper and they want to trim wage bill.
I watched a game cannae mind who against but the Celtic defenders high up the park in the other teams half make a mistake recovered quickly, but Next thing big Joe runs a mile reads the riot act to his defence then runs a mile back the way his influence on players is something else.

Joe Hart's big problem was he never worked on he's weaknesses, or the perception was that he didn't. He was seen as the great hope of English goalkeeping , after the noticeable decline of Seaman and the shambles replacing him. Joe did well for a while, especially early on for club and country, but overtime you could see him making the same mistakes game after game. All Joe did was talk a big game, or think he can psychologically outwit everyone he played against. Some of it was embarrassing really. Glad he's doing well in Scotland, but he'll probably come back and say how unfairly he's been treated after they won a two horse race for the league.
Not saying joe hart is a good keeper or a bad one but i decided to look into his last 10 games he's played for celtic and his stats are the following. Out of 21 shots faced (shots on target) he's conceded 11 goals so he has a save percentage of nearly 50%. Can someone tell me if that percentage is good for a keeper i genuinely dont know.
Maybe Joe Hart did drop in level, but here’s the thing - if you get told by various people for five years that you’re worthless, you might start to believe it yourself and play accordingly. Joe Hart is one of those confidence players. Postecoglou grabbed him and backed him, and even with the lower standard his performances and form have undoubtedly improved.
Harts confidence was shot when he was in the EPL. He was pretty much at the end of Harry Maguires current trajectory.. Going to Celtic has been great for him, and he has been able to rebuild and become a really useful player once again.
Sinclair...........please stop parroting the same pro player nonsense you always do. Hart was an arrogant kid (Alan Hansen said that all the time even when Hart was supposedly at his peak) and had very few friends left in the game because of his own swagger and b/s. Managers have the right to manage.
Unfortunately for Joe...Nuno as cutthroat as he put it was right. I'm a spurs fan and Joe I've met he's a good guy but now his body doesn't respond how an elite keepers body should..I believe what ended his time at spurs were the few consecutive shots that beat him from distance. If you watch Joe he jumps across but doesn't spring up to at least get near the shot.. hardly getting off the ground. That's what nuno meant no leg strength..it was actually quite embarrassing to be beat that way time after time. Players knew.. shoot from distance and Joe will flail and miss. So unfortunately maybe he's good for Celtic but his reaction time is well below what is required for elite football and every spurs fan who's watched the conference league etc knows this.
No maybe about it - let me fill you in he has shown none of the things you describe - his only fault is playing from his feet and frankly he's getting better at it as he does it more.

Might want to check your facts. Joe Hart didn’t even play in that World Cup lmao. Rob Green played the first game vs the USA and after his mistake David James played the rest of the tournament.
Joe Hart asks why, Nuno answers him directly with his OPINION so how's Nuno in the wrong? Hart is just salty. I'm glad he found his place in a good club like Celtic.
Joe hart was the best prem goalie for years and kept de gea off top spot for afew years… still holds the joint record for golden gloves… joe was unreal for us (Man City) and we’ll love that man forever… well I will anyway

Love simon, his mindset and honesty. We all have a past, im sure he admits he made mistakes, that now doesnt matter, life has moved on, judging as we do today, i have alot of respect for him now an time to lend my ears. He is spot on about joe hart here
He is a flute
Actually Simon thinks he's always right and cheerleaders like you just think he's right all the time because you hear a few clever words strung together.
Imagine valuing Simon's opinion on top sport performances lol..the man is simply there for shock value nothing else.
No
Nuno just being honest with him - told him to leave from the get go

Trevor sinclair coming across as quite naive and emotive here, wouldn't surprise me if he is mates with Hart.
He is average at best
because he's dropped down to a much lower level.
I miss Hart at city.. great GK
He might as well be in the Greek super league.
@@007Fusiion must be thinking of someone different cos Hart is still good
As a West ham fan I want to love Tricky trev for how good he was at us but he is one of the worst pundits out there. He always sounds like he has nonideacwhat he is talking about. Simon wins 9 out of 10 arguments.
wrong,he wins 10 out of 10,and i am a hammers supporter who was underwhelmed with Hart
I’d say 10 out of 10 aswell lol
I think I said 9 out of 10 to be kind to Trevor.
I feel like I’m in a joe hart position in my life, I’m glad he’s found a new home where he’s appreciated
We love him at Celtic, proper leader
Yeah except people actually know who Joe Hart is 😆
Don’t understand Trevor’s argument here? Why should a manager give a player a “lifeline” if he’s doesn’t want him?
Joe Hart asking for an opinion and then crying when it wasn’t what he wanted sort of sums up how most people view him. He’s found his level in the game; keeping clean sheets against Ross County.
Cause there is a way to speak to people this isn't rocket science.
He didn’t want a lifeline he was happy being number two and pushing Hugo he says that in the full podcast. Abs nuno pulled him in not joe for the convo
Pep did the same thing Nuno just got straight to the point
I wish someone at Talksport would give Sinclair the Nuno treatment!
Daniel levy should of had the same conversation with Nuno before he arrived at Tottenham…
as a West ham fan, I agree with Simon and Trevor he cos us a lot of points but you still deserve to be talked to you a level of respect as an experienced pro from his long career and deserved at least to try to redeem some of his flaws.
I agree with Simon and Trevor. Swing your pants.
That's the second time Joe Hart was kicked to the curb by a PL manager. His head must of been all over the chops!!

Sinclair is so thick. “Give him a lifeline”. So string Hart along for 3 years with the promise that he might one day play (rather than be honest and let him explore other options which will work out better for him).
Engage your brain Sinclair!
If pep told him years back what he needed to improve on and he still hasn't then surly the player has not worked hard enough

@RFC56 titles yet still less league goals than your goalkeeper which is the only fair matchup that can be made
@RFC56 titles success starts at home and he currently has 5 more clean sheets that mcgregor and conceded 7 less than him too.

I mean ffs even Craig Gordon has more clean sheets than mcgregor
Ahhhh sweet sweet Simon and Trevor clashes. I could watch this all day long - and Luke the producer and Jim know it too heheheh
What is Sinclair’s argument? That Joe Hart should be given a “lifeline “? What is that?
Like he said. If Joes wanted he could have sat on his contract and cost the club a fortune. Lifeline isn’t a guarantee of play or anything simply. You’ve no chance as it stands to play, I would recommend you seek a move if you have any desire for gametime however if you choose to stay I expect total professionalism in training and these are the areas I expect you to work on and improve should you wish to play any part whatsoever
Jordan spot on again as always.
Now he's proving that he's still a top keeper at the biggest club he's ever played for.
Yes, at championship level
Gammon Simon thinks everything outside of England is shite though.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's a hilarious thing to say considering no one watches Scottish football and most people thought he'd retired.
Shouldn't this be an internal matter ? Not particularly good man management though ..
I watched a game cannae mind who against but the Celtic defenders high up the park in the other teams half make a mistake recovered quickly, but Next thing big Joe runs a mile reads the riot act to his defence then runs a mile back the way his influence on players is something else.
suppose he's found his level
@@burlhorse61 he’s got years of experience behind him lost his confidence now it’s back and I believe Celtic will benefit from that we’ve an academy Goalie Tobi Oluwayemi who’s coming on leaps and bounds because of Hart.
@burlhorse this is how he was at his peak he was a good organiser.
He lost confidence in Pellegrini llast season when city were shocking and then pep shipped him out and replaced him with 2 of the worst keepers to ever represent a top English club in bravo and caballero.
This is arguably the 1st time since 2015 that he has actually had confidence and it is showing in his game
Agree with Simon, rather be honest all day long
Sinclair obviously one of those who believes he's owed a living rather than you earn a living 🤦
joe hart was upset that he was going to be sat down for a couple of years and getting paid not to work, to me that sounds like he wanted to earn it
Joe Hart's big problem was he never worked on he's weaknesses, or the perception was that he didn't.
I strongly feel Joe is over-cooking this
Don't see any manager speak that blunt to anyone
Not saying joe hart is a good keeper or a bad one but i decided to look into his last 10 games he's played for celtic and his stats are the following. Out of 21 shots faced (shots on target) he's conceded 11 goals so he has a save percentage of nearly 50%. Can someone tell me if that percentage is good for a keeper i genuinely dont know.
at first glance it does not sound great
It's bad
Terrible but it does seem somewhat anecdotal.
There's ways and means of doing things. Doesn't matter if he wasn't good enough and you want him gone he's still a person.
You have one side of the story
Simon=top LAD proper clobber. The number one trusted voice on talkSPORT! Ace fella & truth teller.
Very harsh from Nuno but Hugo Lloris is 1 year older than Hart tho hahahahah
If Nuno wasn't honest Hart would be 3rd choice at Spurs.... Because of Nuno,Hart is now no1 at a massive club in Celtic
A legend in his own mind!
Hold on Rui patricio was wolves keeper under Nuno right ? I’m sure he was 32 plus ? How rude that was ..
Nuno was correct. Joe was finished atleast 5 years before. The guy is in the SPL for a reason.
He asked the question and didn’t like the answer, and it was the truth, Sinclair is absolute bobbins apart from that overhead kick
Spurs here . He added nothing on the pitch while he was here. It just didn't work
Maybe Joe Hart did drop in level, but here’s the thing - if you get told by various people for five years that you’re worthless, you might start to believe it yourself and play accordingly.
No one complained when Pep did the same thing.
Pep replaced Hart with Bravo and that didn't go so well. Maybe Pep isn't perfect.
Really? That is the stupidest thing I've read today so well done you.

For comedy value mate. His delusions are entertaining!!
top debate, very intelligent discussion. Sad state of English football when Joe Hart got the run he had. Thank god it has improved since then.
@@walletdipper
Players come to the premiership to play Elite football and they go to Celtic when they're not good enough for the premiership or close to retirement this is a universally known fact! As a Spurs fan. I like Joe Hart and wish he was still at Tottenham..... much better than joker Gollini
Esperito Santos was totally disrespectful to Hart by treating like that. Making it out to say he is past it was so wrong (considering Lori's is the older custodian out of them both)
Nuno's response saying that the body can't take it is cobblers. Look at previous Spurs keeper Friedal (played into his forties before he retired, for some time as first choice and was consistent....thanks to weekly yoga sessions).
