Chan is very sweet, at the concert he was holding Hyunjin´s hand probably because he was worried about Hyunjin´s hurt hand. When I saw Hyunjin scolding Chan I also thought it was the return of Mama Hyunjin scolding little Chan.
I think Chan knows that Hyunjin is a very sensitive person who easily gets affected by what other people say and do which is probably why he dotes on him so much and gives him a bit of extra reassurance sometimes.
Chan may have been his music teacher, but I feel like we gloss over the fact that Hyunjin once said that Chan would hold private lessons and teach him how to be sexy…

As the guys themselves said, Bang Chan and Hyunjin have very similar tastes in music. And at one of the fan meeting Chan said that every time he works with Hyunjin on music, he feels that they really suit each other.
