We will be watching all of your green house videos for sure. Our new property does have some slope but luckily my brother is a landscaper and has the equipment we will need to create the pad.

I'd hook a hose connection to the dead end and run a hose to another source to pressurize it to see if the already buried piping run would be usable. You'll find out where it goes to.

Are you going to put some french drainage around the base of the greenhouse pad? I am just wondering if runoff from the hill is going to undercut the chunky ballast material into the sandy soil underneath.

I will monitor it over time so see but I am pretty sure I won't have a problem there.

I live in Tennessee and bought a Grower's Solution 20x40 highwall greenhouse about a year ago. I am just now constructing it. I have the weed fabric down and all of the poles hammered in so far. I am now trying to figure out what I should put as floor cover on top of the weed fabric. I know the weed fabric will eventually get damaged with sun exposure. Any suggestions??

Are you growing in raised beds? I cut out the weed fabric below my raised beds so the roots can go deeper into the soil. I don't use anything extra on top of the fabric in the aisles. The weed barrier I use is good for many many years. Inside the greenhouse it should last even longer because of the UV treatment on that plastic.

I think I’m going with raised beds. I didn’t know about the UV protection in the plastic covering. The soil quality below my fabric is very poor, so it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to cut the fabric below the bed. Thank you so much for your response! Love your channel!
