Honestly can’t blame Knuckles for not picking up on Rouge’s signals. Echidna was basically alone most his life with little to no social interaction just guarding the master Emerald. So needless to say his Confusion regarding Rouge’s romantic advances were completely understandable.
This fan story was believable and charming. Knux and Rouge are characters I could buy hooking up since it’s the most teased, unlike Sonic and Amy which is the most one sided due to writing restrictions having Amy be the only one expressing love. Whereas with Knuckles and Rouge theirs always a possibility their relationship can go further.
Likely won’t due to SEGA writing limitations, but theirs nothing stopping talented fan writers from proving them wrong and showing that the relationships can work in the right circumstances.
I mean, I've done it. In a fanfic I wrote, they're married and have a daughter and a son
Considering the movies are their own canon, if Rouge was to be introduced in movie 3, or the Knuckles series, she might become a love interest turned romantic partner?

Thank you! I've always said Knuckles wasn't stupid, he's just adjusting to his new circumstances. Sonic 2 got this aspect of him extremely right.
The way knuckles was screaming inside his head after seeing rouge in her swimsuit still makes me laugh. But I'm finally glad they confess in this comic. If only sonamy would be like this.

One point I can make. The woman who voiced Rouge here did a really good job, she almost sounded verbatim like the official voice actress of Rouge from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
I have the same thought every time I hear Cashlin Snow’s Rouge performance in any comic dub, they’re great!

That was so nice and very heartfelt I REALLY felt the true emotions coming out.Rouge has shown hints that she likes Knuckles and she flirts with him MANY times in fact EVERY time she see's him she definitely wants him and Knuckles despite how much Rouge annoys him and is constantly trying to steal his emerald deep down he secretly likes her back no matter how many times he tries to deny it he somehow lets it show.This is now officially one of my FAVORITE Knuxouge videos so far
I think the biggest piece of proof that these two like each other and could be in a relationship is in Sonic Heroes.
At the end, after beating Neo Metal Sonic, Rouge casually mentions that she'll go swipe the Master Emerald since Eggman had no treasure, and Knuckles just laughs while saying "she never gives up" then chases her.
She annoys him, but he definitely loves having her around 😊
@@Enter_the_Toshiverse_1996 Theres also Sonic adventure 2 battle, one of the songs for knuckles is basically a narration of his thoughts and he comment's on how he finds her attractive but he has to stay focused on getting the master emerald

This actually felt like it was real, meaning not some fanmade stuff (even though the fans most of the time come up with better ideas than Sonic Team themselves), it felt like it actually happened in the events of the canon Sonic timeline, that is a compliment. To me, this is canon. As usual, the voices are on point and sound like a variation of the official voices of Knuckles and Rouge.

5:42 I’d love to see this character growth on Rouge if she appears in the third Sonic movie, where she goes from hunting down Knuckles, Tails and Sonic for the master emerald, to genuinely care about them
Handling their dynamic be like SA2 did would be best. Having scenes hinting at something more between them, but still leaving opportunities for their story to continue in future sonic movies/live action shows.
If the live action knuckles series proves successful they could even branch out the story and involve Rouge as a recurring character.
I think she will be in the third film, cause it’ll fit perfectly with the time line.
When we saw Shadow at the end of Sonic 2, it showed that the third film will be a live action Sonic Adventure 2, and Rouge made her debut in that.

She is right when he doesn't listen with real point. He is right too. she cares about the Master Emerald besides him. Rouge all the stuff and later on she is greedy and a karen things goes to her head. But she care for her red machine even he doesn't want to show it sense she being or act like a kid on Knuckles's back. Both of them worry about each others they don't want to give up each others but they can do it together no matter what they think. Thank you for the video.

I don't know if the old comics counts anymore- but in one of the volumes, when Knuckles reunites with his people, he was the only one of the tribe who was born with spikes on his hands. Everyone else had special made gloves with spikes built into them. Just saying. Don't really know if it counts anymore.

I thought that this was legitimately real. I always wondered if they had feelings for each other and this was very beautiful to see. Very genius and creative.
There was something that the cast members in sonic X did say that Rouge has a crush on Knuckles but she keeps it mostly keeps it to herself and does mostly flirty stuff to him she has shown very little interest in Shadow but she sees him more as a brother as far as I know but you may never know they will probably make Rouge and Knuckles a couple
Ya know if the two actually not butt heads for who is better at the treasure hunting, I can certainly see them making a nice pair together, they have similar energy and after sonic adventure 2 with the aftermath of there boss fight with eachother, can ya blame someone into thinking they could work out well together

Me too knuckles been my favorite for a long time deserved his respect and hugs and cuddle and cookies and grape he is awesome and badass and it is not his fault he been trick by eggman since he been on angel Island for a long time with nobody with him no friends no family no one just guardian the master emerald or I wish people can stop criticize call him stupid and dumb and native he isn't any of that he is smart as well.
