May I suggest using washi tape in the center of your notebooks/journals to prevent the staples from fraying your elastics when removing/replacing them in your cover. Happy 2023! 🎉🙌🎉
Very nice setup, thank you for sharing. I have to many Chic Sparrows. Lol. Not sure if you know, when you have notebooks with staples you may want to put a piece of washi tape on them, it stops the staple from wearing on the strings over time.

It will be exciting to see how it changes over time as you use it ✨I wish pen loops came in bigger sizes so that more fountain pens could fit (I just end up having to carry a pencil case around). I understand how you feel about keeping your book outlining system to yourself - I think discovering what works for you is really a journey that each writer (or anything else really) have to take. My Chic Sparrows have shipped so now I'm just impatiently waiting for them to arrive! I will share once they come in. Can't wait. I do have TN covers from different companies, so I could probably do a size comparison video. However, I might be missing a couple sizes here and there. Is that okay?

I’ve been wanting to change up my writing TN for the new year - might also treat myself to a new cover ✨ Yes that’s totally okay! There are a LOT of different sizes out there so I don’t expect anyone to have them all haha. And plus, I think we have similar interests size-wise (at least from what I noticed so far) so I think your collection will be just what I need! Thanks 😊

I've been using the TN for a couple of weeks and I'm loving it so much! I think it'll be nice to get different covers, but for now, the Emma is working for me. I am curious about the Wide size though, cuz I think it might fit the notebooks I write my books in. I have to do more research on it though. Good to know! Besides, there’s lots of other content for writing advice, so I’m sure they won’t mind. Yeah, I noticed the wide size too! Looks very roomy. I personally think it’s too big for me since I like to carry my notebooks around with me everywhere. No problem! I’ll be on the lookout for your future videos! 💕
That’s a beautiful cover! Please don’t be scared to scratch it up, because Darcys are beautiful when they tell the story of use! I feel like a lot of Darcy users are terrified to use them because they don’t want to scratch it up. But that’s the point of it!
This particular cover is actually used. I bought it off a BST, so it already has developed marks and patina from the first owner. So I'm definitely not worried about it. But I have ordered two more from the Austen line, which are on their way to me right now. I got the Morland and the Darcy, so I'm excited to see how those will patina with use too. Yes, I do know that trick! I actually added the washi last night to all my inserts to protect my strings.
