    I quit Curology after 2 years. Minimal results aren't worth the $$$. I switched to NURX and got plain old tretinoin .05%. Saw an immediate improvement. I think Curology dilutes their stuff with the mix-ins, i.e. azelaic acid and clindamycin. I still had clogged pores and break-outs after TWO YEARS of nightly use and it did nothing in terms of anti-aging.

      I may try that. Currently using their new sub-brand Agency.

    Hi! Your videos comparing these online derm companies have been very helpful. I'm currently using Apostrophe and I think I'm breaking out from something in the base ingredients or my skin doesn't like the spiro that is in my tret. & tranexamic acid? I already have used tazorac for years, so I don't think it is a purge from being on .025 tret?? I really want to try Curology's Tret., Azelaic, niacinamide product, but I wish I could know the base ingredients before I purchase it and start going with that subscription.
    BTW, my maiden name is Andrea R. also so your name caught my eye. LOL

      So neat that we have the same name! Not surevabout base i gredients, but my skin is sensitive and i have not had an issue with Curology, Agency, Rory or Dermatica.

    Well not to burst tour bubble but curology is as small as those im having problems because my curoloy doesnt last for two months. I then took off the top of my curology bottle and to my surprise theres a little bottle inside where the formula is turns out its not much in it either

    I recently got both rory and dramatica. I had tried curology about a year ago. I was looking on RUclips for a comparison of all 3 companies and so glad I found you! I was going to keep going with dermatica because it's bettr for me to pay monthly but after watching this I'm definitely going to go back to curology after I finish my bottles of rory and dermatica. No use wasting them! Thamks so much for this video its the only one I found that mentioned all 3.

      @@AndreaRodgers anti aging. I have pretty tough skin and had worked my way up to the highest OTC retinols and it want helping anymore. I never have flaked or purged not even from the tretinoin. I think I need a higher percentage when I go back to curology.

    Very helpful! I wanted to see cost effectiveness breakdown and you did a great job with that and comparing the 3 services. I've been using Dermatica and I LOVE the formula...but am trying Curology now to see how they compare for me. (Love the Blue Italian pitcher of pretty pink flowers! ; )

      Thank you! I've used Dermatica and Curology. They are both great. Curology offers more levels of Tretinoin like you don't have to jump from .5 to 1.0 you can do levels in between.

    I’ve been using curology for 4 years, my skin has improved a lot but I’ve never been able to use it every night and I still deal with peely, dry skin. I’ve heard dermaticas formulation is less irritating so I’m giving it a try, trial in the mail now. I tried taking the Clindamycin out of my formula but unfortunately I need it.

      Please keep me posted on how it does with Dermatica. I don't use retinoic every night. I’ve been doing Sunday, Monday and Tuesday so my skin is not peel over the weekend.😊

      Cureology dermatologists don’t know what they are doing. I’m currently recovering from SEVERE chemical burns from the prescribed formula. She never apologized either. Basically just told me I should cancel and good luck.

    I started with Dematica and was excited with my results BUT after 2 weeks, my cream would become crystalized. So I paid for a month and could only use it for 2 weeks. Spoke with their customer service, they stated the crystals in the cream are not supposed to occur. They were great with shipping a new bottle but kept happening. So I had no choice but to cancel. Using Curology now and the texture of my skin feels rough. Going to give it more time for skin to adjust. Dermatica just doesn't seem worth it 😒

    • @AndreaRodgers
      @AndreaRodgers  3 года назад

      I've felt crystals in my Curology bottle when I get towards the bottom of the two month supply. I don't worry about them. I would go off of how your skin looks and feels.

    I just got my Rory order about two weeks ago. Tretinoin 0.015% and Niacinamide 2.5% is that considered a really dose amount? I haven’t noticed any change or even dry skin?

    • @AndreaRodgers
      @AndreaRodgers  3 года назад +1

      That’s a really low dose of tretinoin. I recommend going online and sending a message to your provider letting her know you are handling this percentage well and would like a higher percentage.

      Hi Andrea. This may sound like a silly question. I did get my dr to up the amount to 0.06 now is that considered a good amount? Would the next one up be the 1% your referring to?

    • @AndreaRodgers
      @AndreaRodgers  3 года назад +1

      @@Christinaejohnson No question is silly! A good level is one where your skin can tolerate it but you might have to take a night off here and there because you can tell you have a little peeling or something. I’d stay with.06 for 3 months then see if you can go up to .075 and just take incremental steps 💕

    This was really helpful! I just ordered curology and started about 1 month ago. Someone told me .0005 tret was ineffective as that’s what I got and my skin is def flaking so hoping I see results. (I’ve never used tret before).

    • @AndreaRodgers
      @AndreaRodgers  3 года назад

      Be sure to ask your Curology provider to increase your percentage before your next bottle ships. You have to ask but you want to slowly yet steadily increase the strength. If you are seeing flakes then it is obviously working.
