I'll make a guess here that Molly grew up surrounded by some of the best pickers in the world and when she said -- Hey, I think I'm gonna put together a band.... and well, looky, looky.
Flat picker extraodinaire. Amazing how well the bands sound comes through with just one mike for acoustical strings. But hey, love the small venue vibe.
You looked like you were all crowded around the refrigerator trying to get a bite to eat around that one microphone. It reminded me of the gauntlet conditions and situations that all good musicians contend with just to be heard. Great musicians deserve better but… life isn’t fair. My son is spectacular at what he does; six albums, each one gradually getting better as he graduated from music school and the Ableton Live software improved. Then someone recognized his genius and a corporate genius hired him, now he makes an incredible amount of money but… I miss his gigs. He still composes but only had time to play one gig in 2022. He is blessed any way you look at it but I REALLY miss his gigs.
